my impression of the age gap is that it's not that big of a deal. love is always about timing. however in terms of the story, i can see the lack of maturity of the 14 year old boy. yes he is wholeheartedly jumping but once she finds out he is her ex's brother, things are going to be uncomfortable for her.
There are so incarnations of the F4/Boys over flowers story. Dramas, webtoons, and mangas. I say if you've seen one, you've seen practically all of them.

Yes, Meteor Garden is based on the japanese manga Hana Yori Dango or Boys Over Flowers. All derivative formats of F4, boys over flower and the like are based on that original story which brought a lot of hype to this format.
I suppose it was nice to get a look at how everyone is doing though the author seems to have forgotten Pariya. Anyway, I'm happy we finally got to see Amir and Karluk at least even if they arent' together.

the "before" was about the past of the prince and yulan, as children something was done to yulan.

I get that our FL is not the MC in her world but these teasers with Arwin are killing me. It hinted that there'd be something but that was literally all it was. Darn~
This is totally not the point but I can already see the triangle and both guys in this triangle aren't in any way assholes either(but maybe i'll calling that card too soon). Or should I call it a love square since her miss would likely be added to the mix.
she wrote the second prince to be "a flirtatious man who is very interested in women." like really? he's still supposed to be some pure man? yeah...right...yeah...right...the third prince's right hand man is the most clear minded. Thank you for slapping her in the face with your words =)
anyway it seems her role in this is really similar to the drama W. I would say it is wrong to say she created the characters and world. it's a coincidence like the father who "wrote" the comic in W. Instead of a parallel world, they're in another period world and she happens to be writing about them and has an ability to influence their world.
Yeah,the difference is that here she can actually do something while still inside this world,when the W mc didn't do much(I don't remember much if she could change things while she was outside, could she?),a side from things to get out of the world.And here I think she's stuck
Well while the FL did not do much in terms of drawing to create and affect the story in W, she did save the ML when he jumped into Han River. That said, I didn't mean the FL specifically but more of the creator/author's ability to affect the world of W which is FL's father. What happened with the FL's father in W is similar to what this FL in this webtoon is able to do. And I wouldn't call her a creator but more like W where there just happens to be a shared door to each others world.
this manga is effing hilarious. i hope it updates regularly. i look forward to this.
