i've read a few of the webtoons that have come out with the princess reincarnated into a novel or alternate universe where she is in a position to scheme survival under an oppressive daddy king/emperor. I actually put this off and I can't believe I let that happen. I must say I am thoroughly enjoying this and I find it much more endearing and sweet than the other ones so far. Athanasia is really intelligent and the sincere moments with her father Claude is so sweet and actually nearly tears me up each time. She's come so far from that first traumatic day of meeting. While a love line for her is sweet, I'm thoroughly invested in her relationship with her father as the plot of this story. I can't quite say the same about other webtoons with a similar premise. All in all, I love the delivery, character, plot and the art of this webtoon.

well with all said and done, not much of an eventful chapter. what can be more annoying than a real love triangle? a wishy washy love triangle that the mangaka teases with the miraculously dense Kyoko. w/e we'll see what next month has in store. I sure hope we get somewhere with "unexpected results" soon since this arc is titled as so.

The MC is what i'd expect of a person who "reincarnates"into a novel. Her shock, her despair. I suppose some people are just more adaptable to situations which seems to run amok in the MCs in most of their isekai and transmigration mangas. They somehow make the most of their situations w/ no problem most of the time as though the authors just want to get that part of the exposition over with. Her reaction here as displayed has aroused my interest in the story; not to mention ch 1 unexpectedly show them as 12 yo and not someone who is; say 16 yo.

For me, the unexpected part about the age was actually due how the novel's synop was portrayed at the beginning of ch1. It seemed like everything in the novel that was described from marriage onward ranged around the mid teens but by the end of it, the reality is that they're actually on the cusp of puberty. This adds an extra layer of originality as it will include their coming of age and growth to adulthood.
I enjoyed this no drama short sweet shoujo. Lemonade Scans continues their efforts to share with us quality stories that would otherwise never make it overseas; especially when these aren't long serialized stories; barely a volume long.
