These are some messed up things that are in the stories this mangaka writes. Reality and manga are two different things but there is a line. not to mention this manga was another one that was extremely shitted on when it wasn't even on hiatus yet. the reader comments were fierce and not at all in favor of the female lead. lol. that's all i wanted to say.

I don't know what that "cliff hanger" meant at the end of the side story. What is this bomb? is it something about his feelings? idk, can't even really predict where this story will go. It's never been a normal shoujo and combined with the length, foreshadowing has become more difficult to detect.

at the speed that this author writes this story, the 'bomb' will likely be nothing and the cliff hanger will be some silly nonsense that had us all hyped and will be total let down... that is how it always works, figure it will be at least another year before we get the full reason and probably another misunderstanding to go along with it

The primary story of Philippa and Colin is heartbreaking. Something caused him to constantly die at a young age and constantly testing Philippa's heart and kindness towards humanity until she could take it no more. It's so sad. I had a feeling she was the Demon Lord but to think she'd end the vicious cycle by choosing death.

If I was her I’d choose death too. To constantly see someone I love being constantly killed by incidental deaths, then see him die because the Nazis didn’t like him helping his factory worker,
I wouldn’t want to see that anymore
p.s itd also drive me insane
p.S.S she destroyed 4 worlds before the 5th, where they met, she probably wanted this whole charade to stop too, considering she loved humans a lot in the past

Tragedy tag + doomed summary = brace yourself for drama, crazy frustrating political conspiracies and schemes. Oh and this is set in Joseon. Even better, we'll have petty inner court drama too. Prologue is too soon to say though I say it's grabbed some intrigue for now especially since I was surprised it is set in Joseon (i'm getting used to seeing a bunch of stories set in a fictional medieval western world). I like a good historical fiction so time will tell.

There are quite a few out there actually, but they stay untranslated. Unless the work got a kdrama adaptation, they don't typically receive much attention. Not many groups want to take on this type of genre either for whatever reason (lack of interest, maybe?)... One example is "Before the footprint melts" that got abandoned after only 4 chapters in. But you can also check out Yeonmo, which has a similar imperial setting, but the story is more shoujo & it's actually from a manhwa book. At least that one got translated to the end...

there are chinese aplenty and medieval west as well. Unfortunately sageuk is few and far between. Not sure if it's because of the lack of the required skillset or the lack of supply. unfortunately I can't help with the recommendation even though I wish I could; hence my surprise this is joseon. and agree w/ Yuki, Yeonmo is the only one I could honestly recommend off the top of my head. Mostly i've only seen manhwas, not webtoons.

all it took for me to click on this to check out was reading "The brave princess attacks the sexy king?" lol and the princess is as badass as this one line made it seem. I look forward to her intellect and tactical moves as she navigates the political and scheming waters of the royal palace in this foreign land.
Bina is so brilliant and intelligent. Damn she could have gone places in the modern world but wow here she is as the regal empress and deserves every bit of it. Her handling. Wow. Great chapters 106/107.
