Tia is literally fearful of her life. she opened her heart because she wants to live on without continuous fear; to build a different life. Plus he asked her first. Allen was definitely the person most beside her who would be the most obvious choice to be the first to open up to eventually. Whether she should have told him now or later; honestly I think it wouldn't have made a difference since Allen obviously has more to him than the kind side he shows Tia. It is this side of him that is wary and calculating that is innate and because he's never shown this side to Tia, it is understandable that Tia would expect the odds would be in her favor that he'd believe or at least not completely shut it down. Like really, she thought of such a convoluted crazy story to tell him just to cover up what she's really hiding? seems he didn't even think before speaking and if he did think, oh dear, there really is no going back for him. Seems we might have to toil with this in the next chapter but if not, I look forward to how the coming of age for the Prince will turn out.
GOD DAMN he finally asked. No offense but I'm happy with this development. Yes she is dense but after all the toiling, even if he "has no right", his words in this case makes me hopeful that she will finally open her eyes. Now! i dont' think it's the right time to confess but if we can clear the air now, I think we'll definitely get closer. Is it too hopeful? idk b/c it can lead to more misunderstandings but it can lead to some enlightenment that she really needs. it can really go either way; hopefully not misunderstandings.
these two will be fun. Wouldn't expect a captain like Julius would be such an airhead. Roel is who she is because she grew up as a holy knight so societal decorum is not up her alley. I'm glad this update was so satisfying and didn't stop short of just an intro of the male lead. I look forward to our next batch of updates.
Even though it isn't as though they are doing anything deeply romantic and lovingly, these simple gestures and respect and care for each other all collectively sum up to a very romantic atmosphere with this block of chapter updates. I love it.
I can handle gore and all but I was not expecting that scene. I was already feeling the grief of the female lead with all her loved ones falling one by one just to protect her (or at least I think that's why) but suddenly that scene of her second brother.....I was eating a carrot and while I didn't heeve, it was enough to flip my stomach for a second. That said, I look forward to her investigation and vengeance.
