I was listening to the GoT The Night King music made the chapter more depressing :/.
But she never married him. He used and raped her to fill his goals, that's all. She was a thing for the king. Just looking at the way he set her free after being accused by everybody of freeing the pigs. By killing her, and maybe that's were she got the weird idea that she would be free by taking that spear and dying. However, even dead she was still enslaved and was forced to do the king's bidding.
And that is why that the panel where we can see her eyes give me so many chills and feelings. She was a person and deserved a better outcome.
