this was such a sweet chapter, showing how they've both come so far...sniff.....
im ngl im kind of hoping for a big fat time jump (like upwards of 10 yrs) bc the more that the story leans into the romance aspect the more it gets so weird watching 14/15 yr olds battle for the attention of a 9 yr old whos actually 29 mentally...like ik there was that clarification that there wasn't gonna be any reciprocated romance until she gets older but still...
did anybody else drop this after reading the part where serena and eiser boinked for the first time? ik this chapter was a long time ago but.....i was js so put off by the fact that eiser never told her about ANYYYTHING before just hopping right into it (figuratively and literallyâš)...like no heads up at all even when he KNEW(!!!) she didn't have any education i js kept thnking abt how terrified i would be if i was in her situation. maybe other ppl saw a different pov? i haven't read this since then and ik this series is rlly popular but i js dk if its worth it after that

Well she wasnât terrified, she was the one that initiated it and was pretty all for it, the several times they did it after lmao. She didnât mind at all
the first thing my mind went to when I read that Nora left was that he went back to hs house to disown himself from his family lol
but on a real note i feel so bad for both of them. even putting aside the current trial drama like Shuri is scared of losing him because she has feelings for him but bc of the expectations coming w being a marchioness and her feeling like shes selfish she put a wall up between them...and to Nora, that prob looks like she just cares abt him bc of his parents (whether he believes what she said or not, it would suck to hear). esp because a few days ago he got yelled at by Hans who prob said those awful things to Nora BC OF HIS FAMILY..nora pls come back i miss uu
