..? lmao usually when people complain about art style change is when it’s because it got a downgrade or something, but I guess people complain regardless, fair enough because that’s their preference. Personally though, I really like this new style, fits the tone and theme well, imo.
I’m pretty certain that this is just a me issue, but I really got the ick from when Nainie first discovered his original memories. When he was very serious and intent on having her forget it, she continued to both, remember the details, and even mention it once again in his face. Not to mention the god just outright telling his story before he was comfortable with that idea... almost like he wasn’t even able to recover from his PTSD and everyone is yapping about it like it’s their story, I know, it’s not that deep, but some reason this really just made me mad.
I'm not super happy with the fact that the story started off with Riley being super burnt out of hero stuff and never wanting to look at a sword again but now he's back to doing hero stuff because he feels it's his duty. Which is exactly what he was worried was going to happen in the first place. Idk, just kinda feels like a weird message to send. At least he has friends to help this time.
