Caitel's character development is amazing! He went from seeing Ria as a momentary amusement to loving her as deeply as any true father would. Even if he doesn't understand that love is what he's feeling. With a family and childhood like his, its really no surprise that he's so emotionally stunted. He was never shown even an ounce of love from his parents or siblings, quite the opposite actually, so of course he wouldn't know how to recognize it in himself. Not to say he doesn't hold affection for people at all, he does seem to at least feel attachment to certain people, like Serira, Sylvia, Asisi, and even sort of/kind of/maybe Perdel. But seeing him grow to love Ria so much, even though he believes himself to be incapable of it, is just so painfully sweet and heartwarming!

What's this?! A reincarnation-as-a-noble's-daughter-with-all-her-past-life's-memories story where the father actually loves his daughter without making her work like a dog for his affection?! Hallelujah its a miracle!!
Seriously though, I really enjoy this genre. Nothing against the other stories with this plotline, I just thought having an openly affectionate father was refreshing lol

Everyone is hating on Kirishima because he sleeps around, and yeah it's a total dick move, but he doesn't really have any reason to stop at the moment. Yes he loves Yoshino, but she has made it perfectly clear that she's keeping him in the psycho stalker zone and feels nothing romantic for him at all. If she told him to stop or that it bothered her, I have no doubt that he'd drop those girls like hot potatoes and never touch another woman again for fear of Yoshino hating him. So until she changes her mind or starts to like him back, he's free to be his happy man-whore self, as long as he doesn't pick up any diseases along the way

Wowww, the people who down voted certainly don't seem to be living in the present day. I mean isn't this supposed to be the age of positive sex exploration? I think it was a dick move because, even when his partner at the time brought it up, he seemed to not think too much about it, as if it was 'natural' to sleep with other people behind your partner's back. BUT the majority of the people calling him a dick are doing so simply because he's slept with multiple people. That's NOT me.

I don't know, he seriously flips out at the thought of her having sex with another man but he is having multiple partners without even telling her. I really hope they sleep with many people and explore but just going behind your partner's back and having unbridled sex with anyone is a dick move. If you believe in polygamy you are still supposed to tell your partner and discuss it. If he is doing what he expects her not to do then that is hypocrisy, only explained by the fact that he is kind of insane. Anyways, if he wants her to be faithful, he should be then too. I like Kirishima but I like Shouma more.
This started out so interesting! It was dark, it was dramatic, and the characters felt like they had depth to them. There was a good atmosphere of mystery and resentment in the mansion. Then it started falling apart. The MC's thoughts and personality seem to shift on the whims of the author rather than retaining some consistency. The Duke went from being a cool, collected, mature vampire with a lonely soul and a secret cute side to basically a child throwing tantrums and trying to get attention. I'm not saying its bad, I'm just saying that it seems like the author took all of the character building potential and tossed into a volcano. It feels flat and shallow now. I'm going to keep up with it for a little longer, but if it doesn't get any better I'm just gonna drop it
