I’m glad it’s going the route it is heading towards. First chapter really fooled me, I was gonna lose my shit if he really was going to give completely everything even in death for that shitty past timeline emperor.
This kinda hits home to me. My mother isn’t dead but I am a child from divorced parents and both my parents have remarried. But before they got remarried I also went through that stage of seeing them talking to these ‘strangers’ that soon become as intimate as I am to them. I rebelled as well because I couldn’t accept the fact they also had their own lives and I was afraid I would be forgotten as they moved on with other people while I was still struggling to accept change. So it’s completely understandable the daughter acts the way she does, her actions have hurt the people around her but she herself is still a grieving child.
Btw, if the MC ends up with the university student, that’s completely understandable. As much as I feel for the father, he made his choice and as great as it’d be to see them back together I don’t think it’s going towards that route.
This is practically a feels good story with a SPRINKLE of drama. Do not put logic in LMAO. I actually originally expect a LONG ASS TRAGIC DRAMATIC story spanning at least 60-100 chapters filled with pure agony sadness and betrayal of two unfortunate people in love.
People hating on the kid or children in general in the genre but I love them. It really shows other characters morals (to carry the burden or get rid of the child) and while can be annoying at times it adds emotional depth and most times is a trigger of growth to a character. Which is what I’m hoping the MC will experience after this, because he’s kinda useless to put it bluntly at least let him become faster at making decisions.
