I think his obsession of the MC stems from the fact the MC was ‘untouchable’ and ‘clean’ from a well off family. He almost seems perfect and when the ML found out his ‘weaknesses’ it triggered a feeling of power and sick perverse knowing he has this control over someone he thought to be untouchable. I’m curious on season 2, I guess that’s when the title of the story truly comes into play.
(If there was more on the ML’s background or P.O.V I have a head cannon that he actually probably already had a crush on the MC but when he found out how he fucked around with guys and etc it turned twisted, especially since he keeps gaslighting the MC about seducing guys and because he’s too pretty it’s his fault).

The author is "probably" trying something different but not rlly. Large age gap is not uncommon in mangas. Take for example if the man is hundred years old vampire n the fl is 16. Guess it's the same like that. It's fantasy, could be that author wanted to insert that old-ripen-gentleman fantasy in. N as long as the ml looks young in the end, ages will be ignored. This one just happens to show ml being physically old n only in the beginning
I think she stayed at the earl Manor for quiet sometime , 2 or 3 years i Guess because the grandfather of her maid was surprised by her growth when he Saw her again after sending her to the earl Manor so i Guess she is over 18 now so yea no illégal stuff even though for that Time 16 was the âge for them to be considered adults you're aware thats it's a different Era right 16 years old back then arent treated Like kids Like now
No she’s 16, it’s stated first chapter, however when she came to the world it was 2yrs ago so at age 14. And then the grandpa was surprised because she was finally getting treated well and her body become more shapely thus looking more like a woman. If we talking about the timeline/era I definitely understand that, but then it’s kinda also like then did they have to make him 60, 35-40 would’ve still been relatively ok because that’s still more than double her age. Bro I’m on chapter 35, and honestly, if they didn’t have plot armour (the main characters) they’d be well and truly dead already. Like ??? the amount of times the housekeeper/nanny has shown her face and the hacker to the villains. Plus, they’re facing people that will absolutely kill them with the mindset of ‘if we murder we won’t be any better than them’. ??? Not to mention a whole ass reporter knows everything as well. They’ve already exposed it all and I’m not even a quarter way in.

Sjislxpansn I really hate the memory lost troupe as the catalyst for romance to bloom. But it works well here. Dude everytime I want to sympathise with the Gangster because sometimes you can see his ‘good points’ there’s always gotta be x2 of his bad points showing. Honestly in another life where he wasn’t already so fucked up, because you can see he can care he just knows he already fucked up so bad even if he tried to be all soft that fear is already instilled in the MC. I’m at chapter 40, I originally thought it was better than I expected until the ‘Hero Academy’ arc started. I feel like there’s a lot of inconsistencies with the MC’s character ?? I know he’s not omnipotent but since he ran a huge company and was a ceo his previous life, despite his shitty social skills and low EQ he would still be intelligent no? Not only that he was introduced as domineering (tho misogynistic) but now he bows his head that easily? Feels like halfway it’s a wholllle different story and it’s not because of the art change, which honestly isn’t that bad, it’s more simple but I feel like the lines are cleaner?
