Ok I also got tripped up a bit but I think when he said “I like you the most right now” he just said that bc he saw how the uke was feeling kinda weird or insecure, so he said it as a “Hey I don’t like him, I like you” and not a “I might not like you later but I do right now”. This is a manga like no other for me. It holds such a special place in my heart, it was my childhood. Kimi Ni Todoke didn’t need any unnecessary drama, it didn’t need any toxic male leads, it was a beautiful and simple love story of a group of kids who grew up and found their meaning of life. Every character has their part, the “side characters” weren’t there just for the sake of pushing the main couple together but for us to see how they grew into the story. I’m so happy, I felt like a proud mother seeing that ending scene. I can’t express how happy I am TT
I wish we had more and more chapters of this, it could never be enough.

Damn I remember reading this a long ass time ago, all I remember was that this was one hell of a complicated story:| I remember I hated the black haired girl who was in love with the hot long haired motorcycle dude and the lady that the MC protected as well as the lady’s grandpa or dad? I was rooting for the 2nd ML the whole time, the main male lead was bland and jesus was their love story complicated.
I was also team Chun Bi Rak (second lead) like everything time i look chap 129 i wanna to beat female lead
