I’d understand if people hated the male lead for sleeping with a lot of women if he was continuously promiscuous and manipulative… but he’s not? It’s only been 4 chapters and he’s done one nice thing?? Not enough to make any conclusions. The female lead isn’t that great either personality wise. She’s extremely prideful and stubborn. She broke off a childhood friendship. No closure, no explaining… just because she walked in on him and interpreted his behavior as him treating her like a dog. I know they were in highschool so obviously you don’t expect maturity and good communication skills. I’m not trying to bash her character because at the end of the day it’s her right to not be friends with someone, but just ghosting ur childhood friendship is clearly a red flag for a bad personality. Also relationship tip for anyone reading this: unless a man explicitly tells you that he is also waiting for marriage/ will be abstinent until marriage, don’t trust him. Mfs aint shit. I’m ngl I skipped chapters and I still get the main idea. If you want to do tropes like these where one character is hiding their identity/ or they don’t know their identity or whatever this trope is, the story must be engaging. I think merry psycho does this trope well. This story is lowkey just boring. Amnesia is so overdone, so stories like these are for newer readers. Even then amnesia trope still feels like a cop out, I’m sure even the newest of readers will notice

Artists new ig is hcnghye the same author as rewriting the villainess which is why the art style is so recognizable to me. But I believe the author wiped this manhwa off her ig? My guess is that she’s naver webtoon exclusive and this was posted on kakao and another platform. Idk just my guess. This story finished in 2023 and the raws are free to view which is why it’s getting translated now.
I’ve grown out of these story tropes. I’m sorry but these reincarnation stories where the male lead starts falling for the female lead JUST BECAUSE she’s a LITTLE BIT nicer. I mean there’s literally no reason to like the female lead. I would have liked this series in 2020-2022 but it’s 2025 and emotional depth in this genre is REQUIRED. Plus I can guess how this story is gonna go. She’s gonna keep solving these little mysteries she finds through her powers and then her sister is gonna come back from war and she’s gonna be the antagonist. Sister is gonna realize the male leads/ male characters are actually liking the female lead and there’s gonna be this unnecessary conflict. Blah blah. The romance is gonna go like this. They start mutually falling for each other but they’re too scared to confess and that’s gonna drag on until they start talking about divorce, there’s gonna be the divorce misunderstanding trope where they both think the other still wants a divorce which is justified with the fact that they like each other so much they want the other “to be happy on their own” and then all that tension is gonna be broken and wow. Romance. Idk if there’s a novel to this but I’m gonna check the spoilers and see if I’m right.

I read some spoilers and this story is seriously flawed bc the crown prince is the male lead… I mean it all gets solved in the end (the crown princess didn’t even want to get married) but she was so adamant to protect the crown prince’s son but she ends up with the crown prince… I wish it was a servant x servant romance. I find that to be so much more beautiful romance story than the maid x crown prince. We already know the main romance plot will be him perusing her but shes too locked in to take him seriously and then eventually he will break down her walls and they have a happy ending… BLAH BLAH IM TIRED OF THESE STORIES IM TIRED OF THIS GRANDPA
