Nah, in my opinion, his actions were justified. He had other people to protect and they were dying. Also, his father-in-law said he'll kill his wife if he tried to do anything against their deal. So, it's not like he had a choice either. Though, I do believe he could've tried to do something, but he was already trapped by their schemes before he could do anything. It also seems like he had been abused himself.
