Wow, I wasn’t expecting this update to make me so emotional. When I saw Chang-geon’s reaction to Sam-myeong changing the meaning to his name, I felt like crying. Aside from everything else about his character in the present, this is incredibly depressing. I can understand very easily why he idolized Sam-myeong to the point of monomania: he gave his life purpose, hope, and made him feel loved and appreciated for the first time in his short life. To see how he ended up, though… I can’t say I’m surprised. He’s so damaged beyond repair, it seems, and suffered all kinds of abuse. He ended up hurting, torturing, and abusing the one person whom he loved and whom treated him with respect (as much as you can call it love… more like infatuation and obsession). The other two princes sure are a piece of work, too. I mean, I understand “different era, different societal rules,” but sheesh. I’m in love with this story and I can’t wait to see how it progresses. The last time I was this into a BL manhwa was when Killing Stalking came out for the first time. This deserves so much more recognition.
Maybe it’s just me, but the artwork seemed a bit rushed in this chapter (and a little bit in the last one). However, when a scene was closer to their faces it retained a lot of the usual detail. The earlier chapters of the manhwa seem to be more sophisticated, but lately it seems a little… loose. I know it’s PWP, but I’m really eager to see the universe and plot progress more. Such a cool concept, a zombie apocalypse BL. I want to read another one.
This is so sick and twisted... can't wait for more. I enjoy the story for what it is. It's a work of fiction, it is grotesque and unpleasant, meant to be disturbing with subtle hints of satisfaction since it's a BL. That is the beauty of art and writing. If people don't like that, move along to a different manhwa that's more fluffy and rainbows and kittens.
I feel bad for Seonho about literally everything he's been through in the manhwa so far, but something special hurts about Haesoo, a friend that he really cared for and protected, r*ping him and betraying him so gravely with this. He's a trooper, though, since he keeps bouncing back and somehow still has the willpower to live on. I do feel bad for Haesoo a little bit, but most of that disappeared within the last couple of chapters when his true nature was revealed. I always thought there was something a little off about him, but now that it's been confirmed.. yeah. I wonder how Seonho will handle his death.
Look, I know it’s not a BL (right?), but… Koogi is teasing us BAD with the subtle BL. I need Jerry and Sungheon to fuck already. JFC. The tension between them and every time Jerry touched him had me freaking out…. I can’t wait so I’m going to read the next few chapters that are already out on the website that’s listed in the beginning (the one that starts w/ an ‘N’). I’m legit hoping their relationship evolves into SOMETHING, ANYTHING deeper. Just feed me crumbs.
But aside from that, I love the story. I’m so curious as to how it will unfold, and I like the direction it’s in. I’m on the edge of my seat, and this manhwa really gets me anxious, my heart was beating so fast because I thought he fell from the rope until I saw that he was dangling beside Jerry.
I need that fatass kid to get mauled. He’s mad annoying, so is the ginger bitch. I can understand why the other characters behave a bit rudely, very insane situation they are all in, but those two in particular are just a couple of POS.
First, this artwork is majestic. I hope the artist/author creates another work in this art style. Dennis and Todd are so beautiful.
Second, the story is so sad. I feel for Dennis, and I enjoyed this short story and its symbolism. Todd is, I’m assuming, the coyote/devil that used Dennis to steal the sheep and also toy with his heart and tempt him to the abyss to end his life.
I am a bit confused about the employer, but I believe it’s because he’s aware of the coyote/devil/Todd’s existence and warns Dennis beforehand. Not sure why he sent him back at the end, though, knowing that it would be pointless.
I mean… I liked it. Jeonghan is kind of a bad person imho, what with how he initially treated Iljo and how he seems to severely emotionally manipulate him. But it eased up (still not okay). The relationship is very toxic on both sides and for various reasons. I don’t mind reading toxic stories though, so it doesn’t bother me.
Happy ending. Some side plots could have been more fleshed out as I was really interested in them, but still a good read. A lot less smut than I was expecting. I’m really interested to see how a live-action adaptation of this will turn out. I wonder how faithful it will be to the original work and how much will be changed to fit a drama. I’m sure a lot will change because I just don’t think there’s enough storyline in this manhwa alone for a full drama. I expect them to add a bit more onto the tiny drug plot and meeting his mother.
I can’t wait to see this as a drama!
SPOILER: I am happy that they needed up not being real cousins AKA no blood relation. I really wasn’t expecting that. That didn’t bother me either because I thrive on toxic yaoi but for this story, I’m happy that was the case for Iljo’s sake.

I just came back to this because I stopped at chapter 15, and I read everything up until the author’s note. This story is so unconventional, and it gives me horror, psychological, apocalyptic vibes. I could honestly see this becoming a popular drama. Like, the universe and story so far is really sturdy. I feel so bad for Jinwoo, poor guy is broken. Guwon is… an interesting character. I love him. He’s so curious, he’s insanely hot, and he does horrible things, but I’m hesitant to call him “evil” or “malicious” right now because his morals (or lack thereof) are still very ambiguous. The hounds all seem super cool and attractive, too. I also like that it seems this BL isn’t going in a typical approach where the MC falls in love with the antagonist despite the trauma, etc. Really playing on the psychological aspect. Jinwoo is so empty and traumatized, and he really hates Guwon for being so monstrous (at least, that’s true for now). I can’t wait to learn more about what happens and what exactly Guwon and the hounds are, and watch Jinwoo butter up to him to make him fall harder.
i left it at 8 chapters and will continue now. What was the Mc's trauma? also can you help me remember why guwon took off all his rings that one time. thanks
I’m pretty late but I’ll answer your questions. Okay so first I’m pretty sure the MC’s trauma isn’t explained as much. And the reason why Guwon took off his rings is because when Guwon was about to caress Jinwoo cheek, Jinwoo remembered How Guwon punched that zombie when they were up that big hill, which resulted him slapping Guwon hand away. Guwon asked why did he do that, so Jinwoo made up a lie saying that his rings were cold and scraped a bit of his skin. He believed that lie and took off his rings but later but then back on:))
Thank you so much for explaining :)
