Every single time I come across a love triangle majority of the readers are rooting for the less attractive, annoying and toxic guy
This Time it's TJ. I dont get the hype. He looks 57 and a gangster named TJ, I cant take that seriously. And dont even get me started on that cringe and ugly scar..BYE!!
I guess I shouldnt shame people for their preferences but its kinda hard at this point.
THE BAR IS IN HELL. I swear TJ could push Ian off a building, and then stay at his hospital bedside 24/7 while he's in a coma and TJ stans will justify that behavior and be like so what if he pushed him, he still stayed by his side that shows true love. YIKES
I disagree w the comment about his looks but you're right, tj stans will literally excuse anything he does just because he's quote "more interesting" than Jo as a love interest. he literally put Ian in jail when he could've helped him get off with a slap on the wrist just because he wanted Ian to be dependant on him, since he's less likely to get a job after serving time and whatnot.. and that's just one thing he did. diabolical behavior
OMFG FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS ME, I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS EVER SINCE RELEASE. BUT THEY JS KEPT COMING AT ME SAYING THAT I'M LYING. HE LOOKS LITERALLY LOOKS DETERIORATED THAT HAS GONE THROUGH MULTIPLE DIVORCE. AND EVEN IF THIS ISN'T A LOVE TRIANGLE WHERE I DON'T HAVE TO BE BIASED, I'D STILL FIND HIM UGLY WITH THAT LAZY EYE AND BUZZ CUT BRO
Why are people so obsessed with TJIAN past, people are so focused on what they been through that they dont even consider the present. Im 100% sure if Jo knew Ian the same amount of time, He would also as you guys say "been there for Ian"
Like be for real, the past is the past and people move on from it.
Why should we rewrite the story with Jo in mind, thinking of what Jo would’ve been in Ian’s life? What purpose does that serve? I’m personally fed up with the flashbacks because I think theyre too disjointed and haven’t been used properly throughout the story, but people will speak of flashbacks because that’s been the majority of their lives and the story has been flooded with flashbacks that interconnect them. TJ AND Ian can’t move on from it, but readers should?
You might want to avoid generalizing how everyone who loves TJ feels about Jo, because your statement had nothing to do with my take on Jo. It might not be what you were saying, but the way you phrased it makes it seem as though you want us to rewrite that in our heads. Like if Jo had known him first, then etc. But how is that relevant to the facts of their story? Why should we do that? Why can’t we simply appreciate the facts as told instead of thinking of what Jo would’ve been for Ian. Statements like these always puzzle me.
No. I’d appreciate if you didn’t presume to know why I love their relationship. Their past has nothing to do with why I want them together. My ship started precisely at the end of season 1 and beginning of season 2, when TJ realized how messed up it had been for him to hold on to Ian for so long. When he realized that had he succeeded in bringing Ian back into the gang, Ian would’ve been in the car with him and might have even died in his accident. That was the first time he made a choice out of love, that wasn’t selfish. He chose to let him go. To see Ian assert himself and show a different side to him that led me to truly love him as an MC, made me feel all the more engaged in their dynamic. It’s also when I realized that up to that point, we’d been led to believe that TJ was the only one holding on to that relationship. I realized then that this is probably a scenario that occurred more than once throughout their lives: Ian too, couldn’t let go. Even worse, he was ready to sink back into a gang full of people he disliked so he could find and kill whoever tried to harm TJ. It’s really when TJ walked away from him and Ian started searching for him that my desire to see them end up together started to grow. Seeing that, I had a hard time understanding how Ian could replicate that feeling for anyone else or how he’d ever put anyone else above TJ. That’s why while TJ’s disappearance allowed his relationship with Jo to grow, I feel like their being together is a result of circumstances rather than clear choices. I would just like to feel that if Ian chooses Jo in the end, it’s truly because he wanted to do that knowing TJ was an option, rather than because TJ walked away. I love for love to feel true down to your bone, rather than for love to be circumstantial or because that’s just the right answer. It’s not wrong for love to be that way of course, but that’s just my preference.
The whataboutmeism is crazy. You're missing my point as well. Nobody is asking you to do that lol. The point Im making is that its weird to compare someone you've know for a long period of time vs someone you recently met. People put TJ on a pedestal because of this, but the amount time you know someone does not equate to a better relationship. TJ could save Ian from a burning building that doesnt make him the better option.
And TJ stans seem to think TJ is a better option for Ian because of their history not for any other reason
You guys are fixated on emotional trauam bonds and you think thats a good reason for a relationship.
This manhwa made me hate love triangles. Up till.today I will never understand how so many people preferred Joowon over Taku
Joowon was the most unlikable character for me, his arrogance was so off putting. I think it was chapter 18 or 19 but his comments telling Haesoo "you're the one who can't live without me" and you always get bored" ( or something like that) those comments just put me off completely.
I don't remember the chapters now but I remember people hating on Taku for asking Haesoo about his first time while they were intimate but no one seemed to be bothered when Joowon said something about wishing Haesoo was dead, even though it was during and intimate moment, I still found that more weird.
It was more exciting to see a new relationship developing than an old one rekindling and I though the story would go the same route as lucky paradise or hate mate thats why I didn't drop it (worst mistake)
Now that im older I definitely wished Haesoo didn't end up with either of them. But if I had to choose it definitely wouldn't be Joowon.
He is my most hated character in BL, him, Dooshik and TJ. I can't stand them.

I saw that theres a kdrama for this
I knooooooooow! I just stumbled upon it!
Why did no one tell me about that?!
