So if I’m correct (??) the new guy is her brother’s friend since a long time ago and she saw the two of them grow up and then he moved away but came back. He went through puberty and became handsome and she didn’t recognize her brother’s friend when she should have been like “oh heyy, it’s been a while!” (But also he seems to be the same age as her??? So that’s confusing bc her brother is younger…or maybe not???)
All in all I don’t see why she’s stressing about not recognizing her brother’s friend tbh. It’s more like an “oops” moment and then move on but idk man, maybe I didn’t interpret the vague translations well enough
If the prof didn’t actually have anything to do with her then I actually feel kinda bad for him /: it seems like people misunderstood his intentions and it was a one-sided thing on her end (just based on the newest chapter that is). If that’s the case, then he’s honestly a victim of the rumors too bc that shit can mess with someone’s career. I can’t imagine how pissed I would be if there was a rumor that wasn’t true went around and messed with my ability to get hired/possibility to get fired
