I like that Dayeol hears about Taehyun's past and straight up let's us know that despite that, what he did at the nurse's office is still shitty. Most stories once you get the backstory, everything a character has done up to that point is suddenly meaningless. Thank goodness this author has common sense. Something as serious as a false rape allegation can't be easily overlooked just because the person had a bad past. It just can't. I think it's great that Dayeol can both understand that and understand his feelings for Taehyun.
