I get the whole "he's still a child who cries and worries easily in my eyes" perspective so you don't wanna rely on your lover but does that mean you make a dumb decision and walk into the stalkers home without so much as a TINY BIT of awareness? Anyway, overall it was a decent read. The stalking thing came out of left field and I wasnt really into it. Is there ever a story where a rando guy shows up and he's not gonna cause trouble? Giving how green this story was and how soft it was going, I kinda expected it to stay refreshing. Maybe the the new guy becomes a genuine friend. Maybe he had personal problems and moved out to the country side, and they bond over relationships and self improvement (like it makes bottom also read his perspective toward the top) and he grows confidence in himself or smth. Something soft like that, like how the story began. But nope, it just turned into another typical third act antagonist.
The story is perfect length. Not too long and the story doesn't drag.

These side stories just end up making it worse for everyone. Chaeheon becoming more unlikable, jeongyoon becoming more useless like a child, and the whole not coming out but everyone already knows and are sneaks. Idk why author went this route. Deliberately writing your story to the ground? Or just poor writing skills?

No. I would say they had some quality of individuality. Jeongyoon opposed chaeheon buying him food, remember? He was a simp but he didnt let chaehon do whatever he wanted. Chaeheon was always a weirdo, yes, but he at least had self restraint in the beginning. When they were doing it in the car but there were ppl around so he asked to stop, and chaeheon actually stopped, remember?
Ever since they got together and confirmed their feelings, it's just been boundaries getting mixed up. It is getting worse.
This story officially ends at ch21 for me. They confessed their love, top wakes up to bottom still in bed, unlike the previous time, so there’s enough closure for me to drop this. The storytelling is bland and I’m not exactly interested to see more boring sex.

I'm having an epiphany. Even after all these guys went through, they're still stuck at the "insecure, no trust" stage in a relationship. It feels like they try to fix so much but constantly it's just back to square one. After they resolve a misunderstanding, you'd think it's good. But then the same issue just comes up again. They just take turns having insecurities. There's no trust between these guys, zero.
I'm reading this story and I'm at a loss of words how two characters can love each other so much but constantly have to reassure each other about their love (in a way that implies they have to reassure or else the relationship ends). It's so weird. Isn't it supposed to get to a point where you just know by heart and don't have to feel this way anymore? Even in this recent update Ash has to be told about the proposal, and Lyle has to be assured Ash is his. Doesn't it ever get exhausting being this untrusting of each other?
Makes you wonder about all the misunderstandings they're gonna have after marriage. It's gonna be chaos. I think they already discussed about having no kids but I'm 10000000% sure it's gonna come up again once they're married. Even if we dont get chapters for it, I just know it is canon misunderstanding. Lyle is gonna see a happy couple and feel insecure. Ash is gonna distrust that Lyle still loves him.
