Spoiler for the ending
Seeing as the webtoon is following the novel pretty accurately, what do yall think are the chances they improvise the ending and plot twist? When I was reading the novel, the twist came really abruptly (yeah ikr duh no shit, that's what plot twists are but hear me out) and completely ruined the flow of the build up for me. Anyone else? Even if they dont change anything, I hope the webtoon flows better.

Spoiler
Basically the twist is Jinwoo can restart and turn back time to before the gates started opening up. He uses this opportunity to attack the other Monarchs first and wins after a long battle. Jinwoo is the only one with memory of the gates and powers. He gets married and tries to live a normal life with his kid who also has powers. Then at the very end a new being from another world is coming down to attack Earth, so it implies Jinwoo is back in business again with saving the world Solo. That's the end.

Sometimes I wonder if yaoi authors have any common sense? How come rape is the answer to every outburst? Do they write the scenario up and go "okay, now where can I add some rape,"?? I'm confused what Ryo has accomplished now that he's raped Yuichi? They still got to talk it out lmao you would've been together by now if you skipped the rape and talked it then. Rape as plot devices is getting old. Have some creativity.

I finally put every trauma I had with this story away and decided to finish reading this. I think I only read like the first 2 chapters when this was still updating and was so uncomfortable I had to drop. But since then I've been reading a lot of fucked up things anyway, this had to be on my list again. It just had to. Now that I'm done, I have some thoughts.
Something that bugged me about this story was it's a happy ending that shouldn't have been. I think Harada tried to cover some serious topics in this story but failed to expand on the grooming aspect of it. I don't know, I just didn't like how this became a homosexuality issue before the grooming issue. After Yui grew up, everything just focused on him being "abnormal" and trying to blend in with this normal world. Kei suffered the same fate. Despite the fact they were both groomed and ended up "loving" a person of the same sex, the story didn't really expand much on Yui's grooming and how that could have changed his perception of love and his feelings for Kei or how that affected his sexuality. He just is gay all of a sudden. I wish that portion of the story was explored more.
Overall, I don't have much to say about this story. It was an experience.
To all the haters, HEY it could have been worse lol this could have turned into a harem with B ranker coming back, demon girl sneaking out her gate and into human world to persue Jinwoo, Haein going balls out to be number 1, the high school E ranker thinking she got a chance and using the sister to get close, the one B ranker from the red gate incident coming back, Jinho turning gay and wanting in on some of that action. Beru going rogue and doing as he pleases to Jinwoo. Seriously. Yall are so mad at this tiny little addition of romance when yall dont know how good yall got it. And it's not even that bad. I'll spoil it for ya. I read it a while back but In the novel
they went on ONE official date, that's it. Everything else is just normal interactions, with the blushing etc from Haein and Jinwoo paying more attention to her than now and that's about it. If I recall correctly, they barely have scenes together in the novel (they only do after everything was resolved, which happens at the very end, then in the extras). It's mostly hints here and there that they like each other, think about and worry about each other etc. And the action is still the main focus. Personally I remember more of the action than their interactions and I personally recall finding all the romance cute af, so if that doesn't say a lot, then idk what does. So chill out, relax the pulsating veins on your foreheads, and enjoy the series.
Istfggggg like I've read the novel and like the romance is practically non existent. This is one of the few webtoons ive read where there aren't girls just randomly falling in love with the mc just cuz he saved them once and usually the girls are drawn to be so utterly weak. However, in this webtoon she's actually one of the strongest people out there in korea. You cant compare her to the mc like he's on a complete different level (novel readers know what I'm talking about).
Yeah lol people keep sayings she's weak, not worthy of jinwoo. like duh no shit she's not gonna be on the same level as him, derrrrr ya figured it our sherlock lmao that's the point. Why have Jinwoo continuously level up and then have haein be on par with him in strength. Things dont add up then
The beru part sound so horrifying tho.. now i'm imagining things..
