Her dad probably already had a suspicion to that fucker that's when he find out that her daughter died because of fire, can't accept it he reverse the time. That makes more sense why MC goes back in time and remembers her past but in 2nd timelime her dad's memories is the cost, he no longer remembers that he had a family outside.
