I like the concept, the idea of this. But good things come to an end. I wish the creator would return to Pray/Frey one day!!
I mean, he was chosen bec of hair but really?? What if he was sent to orphanage just to cover up that his adoptive father had an illegitimate child and then was adopted years later
You know, I love this story. While the cover might look like it's heavy drama with angst, it's lighter. But still have the emotional weight in a quiet way. It wouldn't stress you out, but it would still make you think. I also love that Arai isn't judgmental. Probably stemming from what happened between him and his brother. He understands more than the people Kamakura encounters. That makes him the perfect person to help Kamakura.
I think it's relatable to some of us, being burnt out and not wanting to do anything, drowning in our solitude and heavy emotions. And also being blamed for things we don't really do and are out of control. But this shows small moments of healing and connection. That being helped and asking for help isn't a bad thing. And that it doesn't have to be grand, that it would make you turn your life 360 degrees. No, it shows that small acts of kindness can help us go through changes we need in ourselves.
