the art is inconsistent and flawed in a way that is subtle yet very noticeable in a negative way if you’re someone like me who prefers things to look aesthetically pleasing and thus naturally pays attention to details. the proportions and perspectives are objectively wonky. the hands sometimes look okay and then two panels later not; one time they’re bigger than the characters’ faces, other times uncannily small, the fingers look like undefined tubes, or the fingers are aligned in a way that seems unnatural or simply “not right”. there’s something that feels “off” about the faces too (not always but often enough that it becomes notable) and i think it’s the eyes - the seem too small in comparison to the structure of the face/the rest of the facial features. it’s also apparent that drawing faces from the side isn’t exactly this artist’s forte; at times they’re too wide and boxy or too slanted and the perspective/protrusion of the mouths/lips is bizarre iykwim. another funny detail about the side profiles is that in some instances, the parting of the hair of the black haired (which normally sits on the left side of his forehead) is placed so far to the side that it literally sits on his temple lmao. i could go on. when they’re watching the swans and the scar dude whispers in black haired’s ear, he should be bending down cause black haired is sitting on the stone, but the way he’s drawn makes it look like he’s still standing but like… on ear level with the dude who is basically sitting on the ground. and so on. all that to say, this is obviously not the worst art job ever because a lot of it is okay (and i’m sure it can improve even more with time) but it provides enough weak points for someone like me to nitpick haha
found the whole appreciating his feet thing weird until i realized the author was trying to liken them to a cat’s toe beans. i almost want to say from that point it became cringe but the entire setup with a grown man taking another grown man’s shoes and socks off in a store for no apparent reason was already cringe
granted i read this with my ass but the title doesn’t make sense?? cause both does it literally say in the introduction that the kohai is a top (to me it seemed to imply strict top) and he does top the senpai in the end. like it would’ve made more sense if it said vers top but this is just… well… anyway idc it was shit either way but the title is just so specific you’d think it would be plot relevant or smth lol

im so fucking mad. when they showed dooris body covered in red spots i was sure the implication that it wasn’t bug bites but bite marks that noah gave him while he was asleep (as in, sexually assaulted him) was true. i had a smile on my face the entire time up until that point but like… it dropped so fucking fast. feeling upset i skipped through the next few chapters just to get the final confirmation that it was sa… only to find out it actually was bug bites. i’ll go back and re-read but that really killed the vibe ngl
why is bro upset that he didn't get sexually assaulted
idk bro maybe read the comment again, but carefully this time and put that reading comprehension to good use. i am NOT upset that it wasn’t sa, i’m upset because the author intentionally left the sa implication out in the open (thus killing the vibe) instead of making it clear from the beginning that it was bug bites
but he literally said he got bug bites before that scene, I'm so confused
the author actually responded to people who made the SA reading youre talking about on ****s. They said it wasn't intentionally framed that way. since a lot of people read it that way it was an unfortunate place to cut to another scene but it really was just bug bites lol
