There have actually been a lot of mangas where the soulmate alpha actually holds back and doesn't jump the MC omega in their first meeting. In many stories the alpha and omega first date and only then the alpha bonds with the omega. That was actually the common trope a couple years ago and that was when people used to wonder if the mating instinct with a soulmate is so high, why won't the alpha do something? So I think artists are now making the ML alpha easy these days. Either waythe whole omegaverse theme is quite predictable... And once you know the pattern you will find it less hot and more boring.

i definitely like sketchy art styles too but this one is - at some points - on a whole other level imo. like, there’s messy sketchy and aesthetic sketchy, iykwim? and to me this is very much messy sketchy. there even was a very distinctly unsightly panel in one of the earlier chapters (where they were fucking) where it looked like the artist had 1 minute to finish the scene before sending the chapter in lol
i read this up until the point where kain cheated the first time, then stopped and went to the posted photos to see what i was getting myself into. saw that kain cheats AGAIN. i was left flabbergasted. speechless. cause the way i understood this, this was somehow shaping up to be a one-of-a-kind love story with bumps along the way but then the cheating happens so casually both times and both times kain's just... forgiven. i've really been trying to wrap my head around why this happened but the only conclusion i could come to is that kain was so used to sleeping with any man he could get because it was a form of empowerment and liberation in a society that hates gay people yada yada so that now this is supposed to be his struggle? to find his place in an actual, monogamous relationship? you're telling me he didn't think once about the kind of consequences it could have to sleep with the ex of his current partner before or while he was doing it? idk dude. make this insufferable man have SOME awareness please, my god...
this is garbage, actually. the contrast between them (size difference, personalities) is chefs kiss, the art is chefs kiss, but it was made wholly unenjoyable by the assault and rape
the rape scene was so fucking unnecessary, it ruined any potential this ever had. like.. he was enough of an asshole without the rape so he could’ve redeemed himself with that memory loss starting over business

yeah, well. didn't feel anything about the smut. they bond accidentally (or rather unknowingly) as children, fall out of contact, then they meet again years later and fuck instantly. no hello hi WHO are you? the hero sweeps in to save the damsel in distress from harm and then shows that he's only a slightly nicer version of the villain (still feeling iffy about him for holding the omega back from leaving). they don't actually know each other. there isn't anything remotely romantic or intimate (on a emotional level) about it at all. it's really just lackluster so idk what this is supposed to make me feel here. i'm giving it points for AT LEAST making the omega enthusiastically engage in sex even if there's a negative connotation due to it being a) clearly heat induced (he admits that he can't think straight) and b) a cause of their unintended bonding.
