The fight scenes are underwhelming and it shifts tone and goes super quick pace at a point. Also their first night lost consent for a bit. But otherwise it's a good love story with seemingly equal standing leads -a strong MC and a puppy ML. The other characters don't get a whole lot of development, but they're okay. The story is the incarnation into fantasy type with demon lords, but the dynamics are interesting and they really use the isekai and book part and don't forget it.

this is straight up buns. it’s toxic asf and the mc lowkey irritates me SOMETIMES. not all the time, i like him as a character but he be playin a bit too much like girl lock in and expose him already bruh. regardless it’s not totally buns but it’s not riveting story building like… he was toxic and then one day became normal. read at your own risk

I'll have to lean towards it not being worth it PERSONALLY. I think it kinda glorifies a lot of the ML's abusive and violent actions under the guise of "love". Even in the end, it shows he's still not quite sane, but that people will just have to deal with it cus he's handsome and famous (essentially how he describes it). The MC is also quite infuriating too. Neither of the characters really had any character growth. I say this, but I still read the whole thing, so maybe it WAS worth reading?

Omggg naurrrr. It’s a fun + light read. The drama is neither depressing or hair pulling. Something chill. I personally enjoyed reading this. The story telling is very human. But nothing complex or extraordinary.
