While I do agree about the whole it is the mans fault for loving only one woman instead of both, I think, we also have to think of this realistically. If we are going for some sort of historical accuracy, Michael's mother was probably someone who arranged to marry the king as a form of political unity or whatever. She is the daughter of a Marquise which means that she is of high social standing, explaining the the marriage thing. And while she fell in love with the King, the King did not feel the same way and only loved Linden's mother. I can't fault the King if he was forced into a political marriage, love can't grow, or it would be hard for love to grow, if it starts on the wrong foot- in this case a political marriage.

What I can fault the king for instead is for not even giving Michael's mother a chance. Or if that is impossible, at least give her some affection, acknowledging that while he cannot love her romantically, he stull respects and care for her as his wife. I think if the King actually showed her some affection instead of blatantly showing the contrast in his actions between her and Linden's mother, things might not have turned out this way.


However, all that being said, I agree with the whole, just because you have a reason does not make it right or justified. Ut might have caused them a lot of pain but it was s wrong to kill not just Linden's mother but also an innocent child at that. I just fund ut disgusting how thry cant even show a hint of remorse for killing an innocent child whose only fault was that she was born from a mother who was loved by a King.... like damn that hurts.


anyways, I'm not sure if I'm accurate. I kinda forgot the plot a bit. I dont even remember if one of the ladies was the queen and the other a concubine or whatever custom was in this story. I just remembered one being loved while the other was being ignored or smthng.

I just want to protect him (*꒦⌓꒦) he has been through so much already and i just want him to know what its like to actually be loved bec damn he fucking deserves it my babie ╥﹏╥(*꒦⌓꒦)
