For anyone confused, this story was meant to only focus on Hizuki finding out that the teacher he replaced actually killed herself and not by Magaki. The second part was finding out where her body went (turned into a corpse doll).
The first incident surrounding her involved Magaki. The second incident involved Hizuki as he was the final piece for the ritual to complete.
It may be confusing because it seems like we'd get closure on Hizuki's God status and feelings for Magaki. I don't think they were meant to have a straight forward relationship given Hizuki's personality just like Hizuki will be the only one to continue to deny his gifts. Magaki seemed to have caught onto that since he gets to experience Hizuki's healing abilities and the strange red eyes that Hizuki seems to ignore. The only time Hizuki ever came close to acknowledging that maybe he had an ability was when he kissed Magaki on the arm (haha. Too bad/good for him, it's actually sex that makes it work).
Like many of you said, this has a potential to be made a series and maybe the author left it open with that possibility in mind. I hope they do revisit this.
81 chapters in and Ikumi has yet to tell Chiharu that he likes him yet he definitely feels some type of way when anyone tries to get with him. I honestly want Chiharu to take his hands off of Ikumi for a while so he could figure it out on his own.
