I've seen so many BL Mangas with beautifully illustrated covers and interesting summaries, but so many had failed to deliver and broke my expectations until I read this manga.
This manga had a gorgeous cover and there was amazing, animation like art.
The summary and first chapter promised me a deep, meaningful, but angsty reunited lovers plot AND THAT IS WHAT I GOT.
THANK YOU, REUNITED AND LEE COIN AUTHOR NIM, FOR CREATING THIS WONDERFUL STORY. IT WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES IN THE HISTORY OF BL WITH EMOTIONAL, ANGSTY, MEANINGFUL PLOT.
I really love how Lynette built such a clever trap for Kanna. She shows up to the social gathering Kanna's at, feeds the noble ladies juicy gossip while subtly planting clues about Kanna's real identity, indirectly turns the ladies against Kanna and influences them to hunt her down together by inviting them to her new estate, trapping Kanna into joining them, hence risking her new noble identity and life in the capital.
It's so sneaky and manipulative in the best way ever. Lynette has ZERO intention of letting Kanna get away and she didn't even have to say it to her face.
If they get back together, I'LL BE THE ONE COMING AT DURI'S EX WITH A BAT

It also helps that he has very sexy hair and a devilishly handsome face (づ￣ ³￣)づ
But in all seriousness, it's very refreshing to see a self aware male lead like Pisco. Plus he has the street smarts, wits and intelligence to eventually navigate and survive the social scene or power struggles with Linette in the future
Pisco is going to return 5-8 years later as a renowned war hero and ask the king to grant him a noble status and during some fancy shmancy ball, he'll surprise Linette on the balcony, full of rizz and charm, like "Surprise bitch, told you I'd be back"
