Sometimes we need other people to say it because it reassures us that we arent going to be alone in the process. We can tell ourselves all we want but we are never going to believe it and just go in circles. And they can be the 'stupidest' lines in the world and still be able to help someone because they gave them hope.
And I understand that this method is not for everyone and it won't make anything better but please don't call it stupid.
The actions of glasses guy of the second couple makes me uncomfortable. And if you think about it there is definitely a few problematic things about him. This is why I don’t ship this couple.
1) savior syndrome : “I’m gonna save my bias because he is going to suicide later on” (his intention)
2) he is a COMPLETE STRANGER to Rose, isn’t it creepy that one would persistently try to enter in his life ? Plus, this is some high level of meddlesome behavior. This is not ok
3) he comes into Rose’s way of doing his job (relationship with sponsor) without even making anything better. you don’t barge into these situations if you don’t have a solution in mind. There are obviously repercussions for the idol ! Glasses eyes don’t have any qualifications or financial means to solve the issue of sponsoring.
4) relationship between an idol and a big stan (I don’t ship) : Glasses guy doesn’t know much about Rose apart from his idol self. A stan would obviously fall in love easily so I wouldn’t trust these feelings if it were me.
5) oversimplification of suicide motives : suicidal behavior is a complex thing, it is very cocky and infantalizing to think that you might prevent one’s suicide by coming into their life. Plus We should stop thinking that suicidal persons are some damsel in destress for someone to save.

Idk man the uke should be more opportunistic and conscious of his worth. I’m going to accept for a second that he “loves” duchebag seme, since it’s the premise of the story, and hence same for the sex with him. But why doesnt uke ask anything from him? Seme takes the decision by himself that they are going to have sex. You can answer him that you are (really) expensive. Like that you gain more than just a few orgasms because you are not going far with that. Plus, considering uke doesn’t want his boss to discover that he loves him, this type of proposal shows that you are not emotionally committed... Two birds in one stone. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ In the business world, nothing is free and seme would understand that sexual exchanges don’t appear out of thin air.
Finally, doing things that way, when the time for even more angst and mistreatment has come, uke would have some compensation. Stop being masochist please
