I know the change of names is a common complain but in this case, I found it relevant. There is a play of words in each name that remind us the animal each character represent. So keeping this play of words in English is good.
For now the only name that sounds weird to me is the one of the mountain god / movie star.

I don’t get the confused comments : yes « a lot » happens in these chapters but we have this feeling because we are sooo used to slow-paced stories (so when it’s average to fast-paced we feel like it’s too much).
