Like, in most stories the original love becomes love rival and then backs away when the other two become couple. I rather like the twist that he didn't lose any of the people he liked. I like couples but I am not against polygamy at all either.

This is what I love about old Mangas no bang bang and sparks and bullet relationships. These take time , effort and originality of one's culture. The authors make effort to give their characters more depth, make them look so human because of all the flaws. I am not saying that such mangas aren't made today but they are rarer. Because of how commercialized industry has become. It's harder to find gems. Loved the story, loved the art, loved the journey and enjoyed thoroughly.(▰˘◡˘▰)
I am thinking of a completely different scenario in which her husband actually decides to not just wait and do something. So he listens to her for now but is collecting info and plotting in America. Instead of leaving her to deal with this herself he comes prepared and changed man, ready to fall in this sh*t as deep as she is and together they come out bloody and victorious. That would be a good ending, While the silver haired a**wipe is deprived to have a last look at her before he burns in flames of his Karma.
