It's not like I love s&m, but it's just disrespectful, 'cause it's not a power play as most of people think, but the ideal relationship with s&m is based on trust.
Of course, there are extreme and light versions, but in the end it all comes to what turns on other people.
If you're turned on by familiar sex, full of love and cheesy stuff then this is just not for you. You don't need to put a weird tag on it just 'cause you don't like it.
I'm pretty sure whoever put that tag there just meant it as 'unusual,' or 'out of the ordinary,' not the type of weird you'd say in an insulting way :)
I would definitely say this manga is weird too but not because it's s&m but because it's unique in a strange way. I still love it tho

Feeling plain and completely not attractive is a common atribute on characters to make people emphatize with the story and stuff.
