"wym im not like other girls, I AM like other girls we're all fighters" to the prince like oof???? that is so nice to see. this webtoon might be simple in hindsight but its actually got depth. FL being protective with the mistress, the political plot behind the mistress herself, the conplexity of relationship between FL's husband and the prince, and the prince with ML. i really thought this was going to be run off the mill cheating revenge webtoon but its just so full of surprises. also i know FL is gagged bad when she said mean things to ML and his reponse was him offering himself as her on demand relief haha

if i had carried over a practical/inventive skill into a period world id name them with something else cause why is she still carrying italian words in a world where maybe theres no italy i mean itd be funny to makeup new names for these coffees plus since characters dont know what genre their story is, what if its thriller and by keeping foreign never-heard-before words youre sending a beacon to others who is also isekaid or is hunting isekaid people idk.....ive read too many isekai i start thinking about technicalities lmao

I think it’s mostly for clarity and accuracy’s sake. These are real drinks and desserts that are referenced throughout the story, and as a person interested in the topic of coffee I’ve found the use of the same names very nice. Especially now I can look up those drinks and maybe even make them myself (▰˘◡˘▰)

well i do think like its a thanos speaking english situation to make it easier for audiences but its always funny in my head that what if i knew someone and she pulled naming a strange drink 'latte' when maybe latte already means something else in that world or is just a buncha nonsensical words lmao its just funny

the empress downfall is her own doing but i feel like the crown prince inability to form basic amount of empathy and identifying where his fault snowballed into this treason is kinda a red flag??? she witnessed his cruel stoicity and casual fuckall attitude all that in the flashback memory but still manage to blush talking to him like??? sweetie stand up.....

im very tuned in to mcs journey for revenge cause her character is actually really fab but the ML and ML rival are just so...so. jason (2nd ML) has too much personality being arrogant snobbish cunning charismatic flirty etc etc like theres a grocery list long of personalities that was given to him it made him very vague. meanwhile clyde (ML)'s only personality is that he lacks self esteem. thats it. justice for stella....

penelope: *breathes*
eclis: omg she wants me to love her so much im gonna go out of my way to do things she has never even implied she wanted so that she can let me love her forever and she will be mine only and im going to decide whats good for her for eternity because she wants me to love her so much omg!!!
(theres implied spoiler in this rant)
im just...yea eclis is already a little bit cuckoo in the mind from wartime trauma and his stint as slave, i sympathize with him but like??? hes not entitled to penelope??? penelope needed to act as his 'master' bc the game literally restrict her to only doing that and even then she tried to emancipate him but he had mental block to be dependant on her. they havent even communicated and its been 127 chapters. they havent had meaningful conversation, theyre still strangers, but eclis already pictured a life with the image he painted of penelope in his head so much that he sneaked behind her back doing something that essentially would result in her death sentence.....hes a tragic character but hes also a little bit of an incel lets be honest here

he honestly reminds me a bit of house of the dragons criston cole cause them being princess' knight and them mistaking pleasure (criston with rhaenyra) and kindness (eclis with penelope) as love/devotion and then the incelism jumps out over them being bitter about mistaking their own delulu and their respective princess not being the same with their fantasy so like obviously convoluted use of the word but i had 'incel' ontop of my head so incel it is

Thank you! Like kfc I feel sorry for him, being a slave and traumatized by war - but it always made me uncomfortable how possessive and obsessive he was with Penelope Σ( ̄□ ̄||) even if he thought she liked him, he’s always acted very much cuckoo
Ps. I snorted at the incel denim inaction bc why does it fit so well lol

but princess regina thinking "that should get through him right" after point blank straightforward untangling the 3 years old misunderstanding on aarons part IS SO FUNNY TO ME. like shes so tired of his dumbass she still weighed if something like that coud still be taken wrongly by him bc after all 3 years has went and he thought she was in love with him the whole time omg. also aarons father giving him a dog command??? "observe and protect" omg LMAO aside from the seriousness and the terrifying the looming anita as a villain, everything about aaron is just so silly funny and the contrast is just so comedic to me

idk ig theres just been so many discourse and breakdown on this....'im violent and mean bc i love you' typa thing for the last decade that the ML embodying all those stereotypical rough, inconsiderate, dragging FL by the wrist everywhere antics as a caricature. hes a caricature idk he doesnt feel like a real character this feels like some kind of parody or something haha. the story and ML especially just doesnt land
i cant never hate the "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" girlies. i support womens rights and womens wrongs and all that. it all comes down to regina and anita being enemies because of one man. and anita is all alone in the world, the last and only one of her kind. regina is battle worn and wary, she has lived an entire life to the death and cant even catch a break now. theyre just girls
and like before anyone gets in on how anita is unjustified in her revenge bc the object of her wrath is long dead well yes she isnt!! shes obviously bad! shes the story's villain after all. doesnt mean i cant root for her hehe
Yep! I love Anita and her character precisely because she's so flawed. I don't love her in a way that compels me to defend her actions – it's true that she is partially at fault for the mages' extinction, and it's true that her actions in the present are far too drastic for revenge meant for a person who has long been dead. I love her in that I appreciate how well-written she is – how salty and petty and selfish and far gone insane she has become, and how smart and calculating and scary she is that she poses a genuine threat to the protagonist (which is surprisingly rather rare in these stories).
I just really love evil characters, precisely because they're so evil.
