Iwata looks like a genuine person that would treat Haru better. However THIS IS YAOI and of course an MC choosing the sweet guy won't happen in an angst-driven plot! I personally think Soudai should just go die but it's also satisfying in a typical bl way to see the person Haru longs for get motivated by jealousy.
