HE GOT EXHAUSTED THAT SHE WAS CONTINUOUSLY ANXIOUS HE WOULD ONE DAY STOP LOVING HER SO HE STARTED THE PRACTICE AND AGREED TO A BUNCH OF WEIRD RULES FOR THEM TO MAKE IT GO AWAY BUT ENDED UP FALLING OUT OF LOVE. So instead of point out her anxiety ahead of time and suggest she get private sessions and you both get couples therapy you suggest putting your relationship on full display to the world opening it to criticism and eventually do the thing she’d been worried about this whole time. Unpopular opinion It seems from the comments but I feel bad for the seme. Imagine this someone shows interest in you twice, you think it’s going well, you even sleep together then BOOM they want nothing to do with you after the fact. MC is arrogant and petty yes but like the authors note said and I peeped he’s just using his arrogance as a way to not come to terms with his feelings. We as the readers have an inside look into his mind so we can be like this asshole stinks but on the outside he’s been pretty decent to the ML.
