Can someone please explain the first story? I can't piece it together.

They went out when they were in highschool, and were in love but never got beyond 3rd base before breaking up. Why? Because when young uke gave seme a blow job, it freaked young seme out and he ghosted. Fast forward 20 years. Old seme never forgot his first love, so when they met again, tried to start over from a more mature stance.

Most people who get ghosted are more upset than the one who do the ghosting, I would think. Like, he thought they were in love but then boyfriend starts drifting off with no explanation after a sex act. All sorts of thoughts and insecurities would go through his head. Maybe even screwed up his life for a bit. I'd certainly be upset if years later he tried to hook up again...

I can't read Japanese, but it seems like Shizu later reads up on sexuality to develop a better understanding of his own. The author appears to want to sever off the notion that Shizu would ever leave Mina over any societal or parental expectation. Also, Shizu's parents seem the kind who'd approve of both their son's gay relationships (there's a pocket of cool people out there in a world full of bitter Betty's). The author gets brownie points from me for deviating away from the more common yaoi stereotypes.

Okay firstly, Jiwon's parents seem like trash. Secondly, I dunno why people in the comments seem to be infatuated with Jiwon's ex, 1st thing I clocked was his "hi, I'm a complete and utter tool" expression which is not sexy at all. Unless y'all go for tools, in which case; I hear therapy is a thing...
Well where I'm from, when it comes to sex and someone says "stop" you effin stop. Honestly, this is where my interest just flatlines. These mangaka all act like rape is a pancea to any problem.
To be honest, it's pretty much only the old school mangakas that keep writing rapey yaoi stories. Authors like the one from Honto Yajuu have some of the most healthiest stories without resorting to rape at all.
The author of this is probably in their 40's and still thinks that rape flies in 2018
