I like how Calion chooses to have his offhand hand up, which is usually when someone who chooses to keep that arm loose chooses to attack. Meanwhile, Theo has his hand behind his back, which is the more common way to keep it out of the way but in turn, can increase tension in the upper body.

Thus, it mirrors how their conversational line is going. Nice touch.

Our dude Ingis is peacocking pretty hard in this chapter. The only thing missing is opening his shirt below his collarbone and drawing her attention to it.

They're married for only three years, right? How do they have time to do all this stuff and she hasn't become pregnant like she entered this marriage for? For example, paintings and sculptures don't just pop up every few days; they could take months. And I know some of this can all be happening at the same time. She has to return to the north as some point as well.
I just don't have a grasp on the timeline for this story anymore. How long have they been married?

I really want to see Chris figure out what's going on in the manor and gaining an empathetic moment with Ilian, who needs it more than she thinks.
