while reading this I remembered obey me they actually have a similar story base the mc forgetting his relationship with the seme thus him being tortured (raped) until he could remember
BUT warehouse is all that obey me couldn't do it has and actual good plot line where we can see both sides of the story and how they actually were both in love there's no unnecessary side characters (like yuya? in obey me) or anyone else being hurt just for the dark theme to be followed

You can see his point of view. He ultimately wants to save his friends and people, and so he's literally left with no other option. It's a horrible fate, and he feels guilty about it, as he should, but it's understandable.
