I liked it but it was anticlimactic. Their rocky moments were pretty annoying. The issues they had felt exaggerated and just didn't make sense. They were also forgettable because there were so meaningless.

When Chris was made, did they go their separate ways? I thought they had always been together. When Alford showed those pictures of Adam over the years, Chris want there. I'm confused.
Also, why does he have to keep doing the modeling? He was threatened into it in the first place. Now that he doesn't have to, why does he?
Lastly, is this really only 39 chapters? There aren't any missing that may have been left out in the translation process? I thought with it being 7 volumes, it would have been longer.

Omg yessss they need a double coffin!! And i think that although you can't see any actual sex scenes i feel that the blood sucking scenes are the most Sexual scenes, i just can't get enough of this manga , especially the last official chapter where they exchange blood

Even though there are gaps it is still my no.1 favourite manga, hopefully get a tattoo of it soon but its also not cliché, its just so beautiful.
I legit love them scenes, i wish this manga was more famous like black butler because i would totally buy poster and teddies of them. the scenes always get me going like dammm , and its not censored either.

I'm most disappointed in the dad in this story. He seemed decent at first and then was able to do all that to his own son and then treat arwin like that whom he had treasured. He was more cruel to them than his family was to him when he married the gypsy.

well this isn't the first where a father has hated his offspring due to the death of the mother in childbirth. in "wuthering Heights" a father became a drunk and almost killed his son by dropping the baby off the stairs but his enemy caught him and he ran down and was all like thank you and cried on how he almost killed his son even though he said he hates him (also the enemy was the protagonist and was all like damn it this could have been the perfect revenge if I didn't catch this brat) it was pretty funny
also in 'BELLE" the daughter was disinherited, her father married another woman and had another kid all cause the first wife died in childbirth
also theres no way to know if it really was his son but I suspect he isn't simply because she was gone for a long time before he found her
yea, in the end, it wasn't a happy ending I was hoping for but then again I don't think it would have been appropriate to have one under the circumstances. I thought the story was gonna be more simple like the dads an asshole the son falls in love they move away together and bury the past but we just got a complex web of lies and random parties that aren't even important like the bad guys at the end (like what even man) still it was a refreshing read and makes me wanna read something more flowery

Argh. Me, Im not convinced by it being Linus yet... the clothes aren't actually the same... though the hair is similar. For me the face looks different, though the angles make it hard to tell. Plus it doesn't make geographical sense, they're heading away from the outbreak, not towards it, and there was already rioting and food rationing in the town they were in. I don't think its him. Its definitely a prequel though. I think its the 'How Adam got infected' story. (Im kinda invested in it not being Linus, I like him and Conner being cute and deranged together)
