
Honestly...the flashbacks were all much cuter than the rest of the story. I didn't like Tetsu in the future dragging and pushing Tora around, twisting his arm, and all that. Thats just not okay....idk why the author thought that was a good move. The writing of the flashbacks was so good and the emotions and unspoken feelings still came across so clearly then their future versions were really cliche...

i... actually agree. i know that kind of opinion is really kind of unpopular around here but yeah, spot on. the flashbacks were really the parts that made it for me, though there were one or two present moments - tora fiddling with the stolen ring on tetsu's finger without realizing that he's sublimating his desire for tetsu in the act, and the phone call where the beckoning "come" echoed their first encounter, echoed the same pull he felt towards tetsu when he first set eyes on him - that really telegraphed that unspoken desire and attraction between them. other than that, tora's reluctance and tetsu's domineering through it was really uncomfortable - it was clear tora needed more space to process everything he'd been through
