I think because the manga is ongoing, a second volume is in the works. Thatâs why there are still unanswered questions like who Towaâs birth parents are. People seem to be confused thinking the end is incomplete, so this is just to say it probably is. The author has been promoting it on Twitter this year, and since then has only posted sketches of other stuff. Theyâre probably working on volume 2 but havenât posted anything about it yet.

Now the mc seems to think fulfilling his desires to fix him will grant him salvation and i'm not saying it hasn't happened to some convicts before but it's very unlikely since hes a psychopath and lacks the ability to feel anything, laughing after admitting to brutally molesting a child is psychopathic behavior. I know its fiction but the depiction of this story isn't something that should be messed around with, sa victims need to be respected more. There are special places in hell for someone like that character and no amount of salvation can make me see differently.

I canât even feel sad because Shunya/haru had no personality. It was like he was just a prop. No real emotional pay off. Also weird that they needed a kid to be their go betweenâŚlike couldnât it have been another adult? Idk, just layers of problematic. And haru just moves on so easily and accepts a teenager right after all thatâŚdidnât feel real or emotional
