This is too much…where will yaoi draw the line…the guy raped and killed a 6 year old….framed the male lead and then coerced him into sex…all to have the male lead? This isn’t some fun “different” little bl. When we start using the rape and murder of kids as a “quirky” plot device to raise the stakes or make a yaoi unique we have to realize we’ve gone too far and might need to take a step back
i agree that the rape and murder of a child is incredibly disgusting, but i think this author just writes shit like this a lot
not only did he assault the child but stabbed the child six times afterwards yet he still deserves salvation? His disgusting ass is still continues to be around children not a shred of guilt and yet he yearns for someones unconditional affection? Now the mc seems to think fulfilling his desires to fix him will grant him salvation and i'm not saying it hasn't happened to some convicts before but it's very unlikely since hes a psychopath and lacks the ability to feel anything, laughing after admitting to brutally molesting a child is psychopathic behavior. I know its fiction but the depiction of this story isn't something that should be messed around with, sa victims need to be respected more. There are special places in hell for someone like that character and no amount of salvation can make me see differently.

I can’t even feel sad because Shunya/haru had no personality. It was like he was just a prop. No real emotional pay off. Also weird that they needed a kid to be their go between…like couldn’t it have been another adult? Idk, just layers of problematic. And haru just moves on so easily and accepts a teenager right after all that…didn’t feel real or emotional

Ah thanks, I was curious where it went!
I think because the manga is ongoing, a second volume is in the works. That’s why there are still unanswered questions like who Towa’s birth parents are. People seem to be confused thinking the end is incomplete, so this is just to say it probably is. The author has been promoting it on Twitter this year, and since then has only posted sketches of other stuff. They’re probably working on volume 2 but haven’t posted anything about it yet.
