Hey I just started reading this cause it was recommended and y’all seem to really like it. I’ve just started reading the prolog now but after the line “did you ever wonder?” The pages stop loading. Is it like this for other chapters and does anyone know how to fix it? cause it’s happened when I’ve read other things as well
I’ve tried reloading, turning the internet on and off again and the same with my phone, I even decided to skip the prologue and go on with chapter one but it has the same problem

Want y’all to know that webtoon is up to chp65. Its not use reading here if they’re both up to the same chapter so I suggest you go over to webtoon so you’re not reading illegally. Alright, let’s be honest, the only reason why we’re still reading this is cause we’re either insanely attracted to at least one of the characters or we’re adrenaline junkies who get our adrenaline from watching 2d people fight.

Mmm well I saw a bunch of comments that were all over this so I wanted to make this comment just so people can have a second opinion from someone who doesn’t like this as much.

When I started reading this I thought I’d be completely in love with it cause I’m into torture and revenge and those sorts of things but I wasn’t. I was fine until it got to the torture bit, I found it a bit bland and unexciting and it lacked the thrill I like to find in these things but that was fine I continued reading hoping it would get better.
I also thought the sexual assault would be a one time thing to try and integrate the black haired girl but it wasn’t. The author kept shoehorning her in trying to make her a love interest even when it didn’t make sense. When she accidentally got into sex working I was extremely confused, I knew why she was there, she wanted a job, but I didn’t know how she got there or what her relationship was with the chick who got her the job. And here’s a piece of advice; if you want us to like and accept a love interest don’t make us feel bad for them at every turn, don’t make them an object for the protagonist to protect, don’t make them only think of the protagonist instead make them feel like a human, make them feel like someone we could meet irl and make it so we can fall for them as much as the protagonist, they are a love interest after all. And of course I realise that this isn’t a romance I just wanted to mention that.
It might just be me but I find all the characters bland. A sad backstory isn’t gonna make me like the protagonist, a love interest and a school life being shown to me once or twice isn’t gonna make me think the protagonist has a life outside revenge. That might sound kinda dumb cause there are only 26 chapters but I should be able to like the protagonist by now but I just can’t.
Overall the torture is bland, sexual assault, rape and forcing in characters is everywhere and the protagonist is nothing but bland.
If you like this then I’m proud of you for finding something you enjoy and I don’t wanna stop you from reading, this is my personal opinion please don’t get mad or tell me I just shouldn’t have read this in the first place cause I really did think I’d like it I just have different standards than you.

Well that’s the problem I’ve read only a small amount and have enjoyed them but it’s hard to find more that make me feel that way. My favourite at the moment is http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/brutal_satsujin_kansatsukan_no_kokuhaku/ I’m not a big fan of chapter 2-4 because of the execution but it’s one of the more bearable things that brings up and shows rape. Sorry if you’ve already read it ;;; could you give me some recommendations?

Yeah I'm reading that one, it's good! I can recommend some but I wouldn't say they're heavy on the gore, I just think they give off a similar dark vibe. They simply don't make enough of this type

I know the white hair chick is just being nice but just shut up. You’re nice to a fault and it makes me want to throw up, I might sound harsh but I don’t and have never believed that someone can be purely kind and people who seem like they are make me feel uneasy. It’s good that you’ve realised the princes mistake but you will never condemn him for anything more than a light insult, if you’re really sorry you would make the prince understand the situation and make him apologise. Apologies from someone who had merely watched from afar and didn’t intervene are unnecessary and feel halfhearted.
