i felt the same and i truly hated him but when i saw that the duke was talking about using him as a puppet, i changed my mind. what if the duke had been manipulating the prince into believing that tia was evil? with the current timeline, his personality does not, at all, match up with his past life. it doesn't make any sense at all that he would come to hate tia without reason. i'm sure you saw the note before, but trust the author !
