It's nice to see actual morally grey or just a straight-up evil mc/side characters in a villainess manga, and none of that redemption bs. I know the main character is just playing it up so that she doesn't get killed, but my god, it's great to see that she's actually just partially acting according to rumors (even if she's not killing anyone. She just doesn't seem too disturbed by the shit-show surrounding her unlike some other mcs who are like ":0 omg I couldn't believe that happened even though it's been occurring all my life I will now cry in a corner!"), and not just a misunderstanding situation.
Also, the whole fucking thing is just eye candy galore. I tend to simp for the fmcs, rather than the love interest, but this one, in particular, is just, chef's kiss. Idk lol. Her character design looks rather like a villainess, instead of some pansy big-eyed softie appearance, which I think is fucking great. Of course, the blonde and red eyes might be a little tired at this point, but I still think mc is gorgeous
I also like the person's design introduced in ch 9 (I honestly forgot who she was already lol). At first, I thought that perhaps she'd be like mc's mother, but the gap was honestly great. Like, when I saw her decapitate the maid I was like :0 but then I was like "yeah, wtf did I expect lol"

By the title, I wasn't expecting too much, but it's a very charming story, even if it's kind of basic. Recommend it if you're into these kinds of stories!
