Dude, 4 chapters in and we still have not gone past that one morning! I mean, I enjoy reading other characters POV but could they speed it up slightly? At the rate we're going, it would take like another maybe 12 or a few chapters before any actual romanticism start. Because from the first few chapters, it seems as if the author wants to show us all their POVs and it could take some time.

Athy, just leave him. Like for good. He doesn't deserve you! Claude should just die! Because I can't take it anymore! How can you still stay with someone if all they are gonna do is hurt you! I don't get you. I know you love your dad but he isn't the same person! It would be more rational of you to try and look for Lucas instead! Ask him to help you! And make it known to Claude that you could care less if he drops down the face of the earth! You ate way too nice for your own good! And why can't you see what a burden Jennette's idiocy is becoming to you! It hurts you more than it heals! Just leave them! You don't need them! If Claude doesn't want, you shouldn't want him either! It's breaking all of our damn hearts! The fact that Claude can't remember you is tearing us readers apart! And I swear to God if I ever get my hands on him, I will slap his face so hard he gets a concussion!!!

I know and I respect that. Athy just wants to have fatherly love and she can't help it. But I'm saying this because her want for fatherly love is what is making her feel so horrible! She can do what she thinks is right but what I think is right is to leave. No matter how horrible it feels, I doubt it would be as horrible as having a new kind of hurt everytime you look at your father knowing that he probably won't remember you! And knowing that there would be someone else taking away the only feeling of fatherly love you ever knew of. I'm just stating my opinion but at the end of the day, as long as Athy doesn't regret anything I'm fine with her decision. Although I do feel frustrated that Claude doesn't remember her.

I don't hate her but she really cares about appearences, huh? Kinda rude and stupid if you ask me! I think a person should be judged based of their personality rather than their looks! But I guess I can't totally blame her because people judge others all the time...

I can understand her being shallow for a temp 1 year marriage that she believed she would have full control over as the higher ranked noble. Just wanted some eye candy to keep the pretend marriage fun. Unfortunately, she had no idea she was played since big bad took a liking to her. Lesson learned, express caution even in presumed safe ventures.

I'm sorry but no matter how hard I try, I cannot like Jennette(Is that how you spell her name? Coz like I don't know?). I know she isn't a bad character but I just keep remembering how she didn't do anything for our dear Athy in 'The Lovely Princess' book when Claude hated her! And now, Athy might be in danger because of Jennette! I cannot accept this because Claude isn't her fricking FATHER FOR GOD'S SAKE!!! I wanna go in there a scream in Jennette's ear that she has the wrong person as her father! And that she shouldn't be at all expecting that she is part of the father and daughter relationship between Athy and Claude! No, no, no, NO!!! Athy has worked way too hard! Ugh!!!

Well, I think one difference is that Jennette is actually a young girl where Athy has the mind of a grown woman. Jennette was also sheltered and has never worked a day in her life. Her life is about not asking questions and being a cute girl that everyone loves.
Athy lived in her other life as a woman who worked herself to death. She was an orphan and her life was about working through the many setbacks in her life. She is far more likable as a character because she is much more relatable. She had to develop herself and she only learned to act cute to survive under Claude. She knows how to be real. Jennette doesn't.
Even though Jennette is like 14 (or 15?) she has the maturity of a twelve year old to me. She's very innocent and just goes with the flow. This passivity makes it hard to root for her.
I think Jennette sees Claude and Athy as her ticket out of her life with the Whitey clan. At the Whitey estate she is barely allowed out. She couldn't even go to her aunt's funeral. For her it's like she lives in a gilded cage.
The reason its hard to find her interesting is because she is a bland character. Not bad, but not interesting. She just wants to go from a not bad situation to a little better one.
I hope that maybe in the future Jennette will actually become a more interesting character. Right now the last few chapters have focused mostly on her and Athy is just hanging around. However, Jennette can't compare to Athy whose is several times more interesting.
Y'all, puberty turned him into an ikemen. I like it. When is puberty gonna do that to me??? Like all I got from puberty are pimples and fats...
