the BL tropes comedy in this has forever warped my bl reading experience and I have to stop reading this manga so I can still enjoy the other bl stories like I did before this manga made me realise how STUPID and unrealistic and repetitive these tropes are but I still can't get enough XD when will our MC finally fall for Hatano or let that poor boy find someone else...tbh I feel for the MC. there is nothing more disgusting and stressful than being pursued by someone who you don't like that way or don't want that attention from...even if they are an Ikemen like Hatano or Toujo. Also having to not feel safe in your own house is so tragic...if he were a girl, this kind of stress would be considered unwanted bordering sexual harassment.
He should really make it clear even if he has to be rude and mean, it's in their interests mutually.
I like this...it's quite cliché and ridiculous but I guess it's just a cute and fun story. I would've liked more depth and nuance and it has the potential to be longer series rather than just 8 chapters since the characters are quite light hearted and cute. For example, them being almost lovers in high school and then one of them disappears over night and they meet again as adults but on the opposite side of the gangster gangs or something. So much potential.
It reminds me of the manhua Untouchable with similar dynamics but Untouchable was done a tad bit better and truly had that enemies to lovers done SO WELL that they managed to packet angst, love, longing, tension, crush, and comedy in a few chapters too.
But this is nice too. Thank goodness it isn't smut like let us enjoy some dumb bl stories for once. ┗( T﹏T )┛
I read this story with my brain and morals switched off. All I know is that everyone is trash in this story but I read it anyway because the art is stellar. Tbh this isn't any different from toxic Chinese bls...but I truly do feel for suiying. Like...whatever he may be, blind in love is one of them. Holding off on reading this until it's done because if there isn't a romance, I wanna start reading it from.the start without expecting anything. There is a lot of potential if done rightly but I have no hope as of now for any kinda satisfaction from a bl POV..as a story of revenge and justice, it's fine ig. Even though the story is nice, still disappointed reserved until the end.

I read the novel ages ago, back when serialisation has just started of this manhwa, and what I remember is this: Ilay never changed, there was no character arc for him. Which is realistic I guess. People like him don't change. He just adjusted a little bit, but what bothered me TILL the end of the story is that Taeui never once enjoyed sex with him - not once. They've toned it down a lot for the manhwa but in the novel - not once was it not forced and painful and traumatic for him, even after they got together.
This might be the only bl I have seen in which Ilay was a psychopath all the way through, he wasn't humanised, he wasn't transformed by the power of love and friendship lol. I guess this is why I kinda liked the story but mostly it was an acid trip.
My favourite arc would be is the angst arc of course. That shit gets me in every damn toxic story. The angst and chasing arc and missing you to moon and back and "you are mine" etc. Ilay is a psychopath and personally wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy but he certainly makes for an entertaining read.
I feel bad for Taeui so much. He literally gets kidnapped to be away from Ilay and avoids getting rescued by him because he knows he will get raped again or worse captured by Ilay for running away from him. That shit broke my heart. Holding off reading the manhwa, but I'd suggest readers to go for the novel, the atmosphere of the novel is pretty entertaining nd imaginative- like locations and plot twists and etc.

Because this is a fictional story I am laughing my ass off but irl obsessive people like this are soooo scary. But I can distinguish between reality and fiction and laugh at these two dumb hoes. Both of them are hopeless. Just get together ffs!! I just know it that them getting together will be even funnier than them being enemies lol. Can't wait to see Jaehyuk being a whipped boyfriend - I guess this is why I like him or more specifically characters like him, that even though they are arguably dumb and clueless, once they see the light, they are in body and soul for their lover. I am a sucker for that character development - maybe it's the whole taming the beast thing. Making someone who wouldn't bend a knee in front of God is on his knees for you. Mhm, yumyumyum hahaha
