I agree. I don’t know what Japan’s (at least otaku cultures) obsession with minors. But it’s a part of so much manga. I’m getting really sick of being exposed to is so often. Especially because it’s always either really casual/condoned or really played up/fetishized

true. im about to say some tmi stuff, but when i was on nhentai(you can judge me), i saw something on the popular right now page and it ended up being rape "porn" with highschoolers (i dont look at tags so it was my fault) and it was really disgusting. so i looked at the comments and it was a bunch of men saying stuff like "i wish i could do this" and it was really unnerving that they think its normal to think like that. I literally saw people saying "if you dont like what theyre saying just ignore them" like how can you ignore someone normalizing underage shit like that. It doesnt matter that it was drawn out, its weird as fuck.

Yeah it’s because a lot of degenerate men use those sites. I’ve come across comments on there from men saying stuff like they wish they had “taken a chance” on their younger siblings and stuff like what you describe. It’s really disturbing. Manga is manga and hentai is hentai. There are plenty of problematic things I can only over look or enjoy because I know it’s fiction or it just works in fictional settings...but I would never actually want those things irl!!! Plenty of people have kinks like bdsm but wouldn’t want to be hurt by a stranger or to be in an unsafe setting. When people stop being able to enjoy fiction for fiction and start wanting to bring it into the real world they need to get help....people who comment sick stuff are on a whole different level...I just can’t imagine being like that at all. I think being exposed to lots of porn is kind of an epidemic in many places because there’s a high rate of porn addiction amongst men and what happens is you start needing more extreme porn to you know...and so people start writing and reading some stuff that should never have been allowed. Japan has VERY lax laws about porn, especially hentai. I am very sex positive and think it’s should be enjoyable but I think there needs to be a serious crack down on violent and disturbing porn/hentai

I was also looking for some mangas with smut of day so i found one and at the start there was a naked girl outside livestreaming or smth and men who saw her got horny and they were all mentioning how hot her body is and how smooth and “hairless” her vagina was. That was the first red flag but i thought maybe they said that bc she waxed down there and i didnt think she was underage bc i thought that no one was crazy enough to draw a child like that but then her way older bf came and she was asking him to get her pregnant and he said she hasn’t gotten her period yet so she cant. That was disgusting enough but the ppl in the comments didnt even find it weird and they just talked abt how hot it was…
