I'll cry! Seriously so sweet and beautiful. Also, Yuusuke repeating how Saya talks is so adorable :"") super adorable
I love the art, I love Saya so so much he's the sweetest. And I love that he just wanted to be around girls cause he feels at ease around them. Girls really are comforting I totally get it.
Yuusuke's struggle to accept his sexuality had me emotional but also it felt understandable cause yeah suddenly you're faced with something so different. I always, always love when characters take accountability and acknowledge how what they did hurt someone else. Like, him saying he was just as bad as the middle school guy, even though he definitely wasn't THAT bad, he still is aware that the hurt he caused Saya only built upon that pre-established trauma. Ugh, I love it. They're both really, really lovely

This is so fucking beautiful??? Like, the angst is devastating, I felt so damn bad for Haesoo. The fact that Minheok used to be the brightest thing in her world, and he was genuinely so sweet, is actually devastating. (Also the fact that they made him hot pissed me off lmao like I HATE him I don't want to think he's pretty). No, but seriously, when it showed how sweet their relationship initially was it tore me up. How he devolved into someone so detestable from someone so wonderful is so terrifying. I hate him so much.
Taeha is such a fun character cause this dude is definitely crazy but he's also damn loyal... Do I just want Haesoo to have a sweet, lovely relationship? Yes. But with the shit in her life maybe she needs a crazy guard dog like Taeha lmao. Also, he's so beautiful like damn... As soon as he pushes his hair back I'm like wow.
The art is really pretty.
Seriously though, this is genuinely so beautifully written. I wanted to cry on so many occasions, and I have too much to say to get into it all. Like, even just the way that things are phrased is so... Idk, it's just beautiful. SO many amazing lines, but some that really hit were "The scars life left on her made her strong, but... When it came to wounds left by a loved one, she was powerless." and "Will I live until my dying day bleeding from the memory of you?" and "Everyone... Thought you were a waste." and "The most glittering thing I ever had... He disappeared just like that."
Like uGH, just rip my heart out. Jeez.
Bonus: I'm obsessed with Jay he's so

I just gotta add more about how much I love Haesoo. She's been through hell and back and the way she's caught in such a toxic relationship HURTS. The fact that she was trying to convince herself that everything was fine and as she said all those things like "it's not even a big deal, you're just making a fuss" it shifted to Minheok being the one saying it? Like, he infected her so deeply that her inner critic has his voice.
And she perseveres so much. I genuinely can't blame her for any of her actions thus far because life has dealt her such a fucked up hand that she's strong just for holding on in whatever way she can. Genuinely such a well written character in my opinion because her hurt runs so deep that she's scared to allow herself even emotions, even from a young age she was hesitant. But now she's jaded (understandably) and exhausted (understandably) but she goes on without complaint. It hurts seeing her so poorly treated, but I really, really, really hope Taeha stays good to her. I know he loves her so much and even when she's rejected him he's been pretty okay with it so I don't think he'd do anything crazy but dude has a lot of demons. So I just hope they can be together and heal rather than hurt each other because DAMN IT this woman deserves GOOD things!!! For once in her life!

Heheh, I think delicious is the best response I've had about a comment, tyty (っ.❛ ᴗ ❛.)
And yes! She has such a quiet strength and resilience about her. Yet, like you said, she's still kind and gentle. I really like her as a character because the way she struggles to express things makes her seem flat but she hurts so much and keeps going. I just want good things for her

Hehe yeah cuz analytic comments like this is so satisfying to read because I'm too stupid to put my thoughts down well like this. Gentle and kind characters are so underrated fr. Everyone wants a literally asskicking character for them to be cool or strong women. Too many overlook how kindness and gentleness itself is a strength. Well, you can already see comments popping up here and there hating on haesoo here

Reading all the comments I expected soo much worse but like??? The fact that he tried to drug anyone was a huge part of the plot and was shown as clearly being wrong. They clearly say it's despicable and he feels just as bad as the creepy client. I think regret goes a long ways in fiction. Obviously irl this shit would never be okay, but he is fully regretting what he did and goes out of his way to make it right AND doesn't feel like he's entitled to forgiveness. He'd fully understand if he never got a chance and shows he's grateful for forgiveness.
Idk, I think this was pretty sweet all things considered and I like when bad stuff is actually acknowledged as being bad AND when there's not a double standard. He hates the creepy client for how he acts and understands that he did something awful, too. But he ultimately has way more respect for omegas than those other alphas do.
I was pleasantly surprised but maybe that's just bc my expectations were for horribly toxic shit lol

yeah this was really mild. a lot of ppl on the internet have a problem with remorse and think bad actions are never ever able to be redeemed so that’s probably why ppl made this seem so “toxic”
i think it’s kinda crazy tbh to decide people can’t ever change without even giving them a chance. obviously there’s nuance to this general topic, but in this specific manga, the alpha very obviously tried his hardest to make up for his actions. i feel like we really should just let the victims decide for themselves if they want to forgive someone or not. and like you said, the male lead didn’t ever act like he was entitled to forgiveness.

Ahh, yes! Super well said, I totally agree. Especially about letting the victims decide, specifically in a situation like this where there wasn't really a strong malicious intent and no repeated toxic behavior. And like you said, nuance is very important in this topic, but for this manga I really just feel it was handled appropriately and the remorse went a long way

I agree!!! I've read this series so many times starting from before bl manhwa became mainstream and the comment section was so different. This story used to have a 9.2 rating and was —is— genuinely one of my favorite omegaverse story to read (not to mention it was one of the og stories). I think people are too focused on having the so called "ideal" ML that they see everything as Black or White –or in this case, Green or Red– and nothing in between. Which I think is a shame since there are lots of good yaoi manga that people are passing on due to the reviews.

Yeah, that is the blessing and the curse of something becoming more popular. I've liked BL since like 2016 and so I've seen the progression, and it the issue was that there was a LOT less content so people put up with a lot more. The more content and consumers there are, the more you get both the chance for bad content and bad consumers lol. Like, there's the oversaturation of BL dramas and manga/manhwa being churned out there there are a lot of duds. BUT, there are also a LOT of really good things which raises people's standards by a TON, which is why things that are older don't always hold up. But also, people get pickier and I think there is a problem with readers in general being extremely unforgiving of characters, which is their prerogative, but I think it sullies the reviews. Like you said, there's a lot of black or white (or green or red) thinking in a lot of audiences and so the more popular something becomes, the more you're going to get that vocal majority of critics who don't care for nuance in stories.
Obv critique is fine and taste is subjective and no one should feel forced to read something for fun that makes them uncomfortable/they don't enjoy. But it really is a shame, like you said, that it then muddies the reviews for other potential readers

Y'all I hate angst just get married or talk or something you're literally fathers together
Also, I love that Olivian (sp?) isn't an antagonist?? Like at his introduction I fully thought he was gonna be whack but he's a cutie patootie !
Ray needs to treat my boys Petri and Oran better tho like be nice to them!!!!

It's always the random smut that I read for the hell of it that I end up getting weirdly attached to the characters. I love how absurd this shit is like okay slay with your 3 beautiful bfs mama. Who is raising those twins tho lmao??? like all these mfers do is fuck, the governesses must be working overtime

I'm so deeply in love with this at chapter 44 but I genuinely cannot handle if they fall apart, Jooha gets r*ped again, or if bad things just happen without any solace.
Like, legit the fact that I'm only halfway through is terrifying because they're SO happy rn which means things can only go horribly wrong. Seriously, I love Dooshik so much and him saying he'll destroy anyone who hurts them is nice and all but I legitimately will fall apart if Jooha gets stolen from the arms of the only person who treats him right and gets assaulted again he doesn't deserve any more pain

This art is fucking SO GOOD!!!! like I'm obsessed with it, they're so insanely adorable. This is simple and if I were to overanalyze it I could have some complaints but I currently have a stomach bug and this made me feel extremely cozy and happy so I won't ruin it.
I love a crybaby alpha that's great. Like, he really goes from crying to being a little bit insane right back to crying. Love. He's possessive in a very honest way and I like how much of a softy Doyun is for him.
Anyways, I want to eat the art it's so gjfhdhd the squishiness of it all

Like?? Lowkey I just want Hada to be happy with Soonkyung bro it went from the funniest brainrot to that (seriously, the hoops that were jumped through to get this man fucked were so funny. Bullets up the ass??? The arrests were so??? Lmaoo)
Anyways, art goes crazy, Soonkyung is so cute and I love his pretty eyelashes. Hada has bangin' tiddies. Bussy so good we're stopping systemic police corruption
I have to much to say I'm screaming sobbing rolling around I can't ╥﹏╥
This healed my soul idek what to say it gave me everything I wanted. Also Seunghyeon said love is love and solidified his place in my heart omg.
No but for real, I haven't screamed this much over something in so long everything about it made me lose my mind it's so GOOD!!!!!!! Like it's simple but it's exactly what I needed and the cutesy wholesome ooey gooey sappiness washed away all the angst I've been forced to read for my classes.
Also, Minheok is so goated every time that man showed up I lost it he's my everything. And Kang (was that his name? Her costar) is so insanely adorable I love that even Seunghyeon was like "this guy's too cute" and I agree!!!
Just the right amount of angst and no overly contrived bullshit nonsense that made me want to rip my hair out. Yura is my sweet beautiful princess and I'm so happy she got her beautiful happy ending and got to have family she wanted so bad.
Also, Seunghyeon and Yura are so insanely fine like dear God I probably re-read every kiss scene at least twice.
Okay I'm done I could ramble forever about this I'm just so endeared
