i kinda hate chapter 34 it felt so melodramatic and inauthentic, like it just made me wanna laugh
i feel like we didn't need kaede to physically stand up to the teacher to show that he's learning to face with his trauma, or have the teacher be kinda cartoonishly evil the way she's spelling everything out, or for black haired girl to get STABBED for kaede to show she's becoming a better person like it all feels too in-your-face
I get what your saying. Like it’s good your facing your fears but someone just got stabbed. i really appreciate that seto has such a strong support system, and that there are actually more characters who sympathize with seto than antagonistic characters (and from what it looks like in the raws, there'll be even more!)
especially since in manga, and tbh in real life, hot female teachers having a thing for male students is often seen as something that's enviable and not predatory, it's nice that it's taken seriously by most people in this manga.
(also love the ace rep and the conversations about trying SO hard to do things to be "normal" in high school are too real )

i feel like some ppl approach every bl-tagged story like it's a romance? but this is very obviously primarily an idol manhwa with side (and slooooowwwwburn) romance, so u'll get disappointed if u start this expecting something else!
