Mo: "Whether or not I wear the earrings depends on my mood. you can't control me"

Also Mo in the future *wears the earrings all the time*

idk if u know this but the dots you see on his ears are actually just his ear/earring holes and not the actual earrings themselves. he actually doesn't wear earrings in the story (except for one instance when he was working at that backstage place) . and he has never worn the black studs from he tian yet because he hasn't even bought them yet in the story. its a common confusion though so I don't blame you.

you can tell when he is actually wearing an earring bc its much larger and noticeable, not just a dot.

oh lol no i was talking about chapters that take place in the future We can see him wearing the earrings all the time in the future, like when he goes to work or goes to a hot springs etc. I thought of editing the post when I finished writing it but was too lazy. I knew someone would misunderstand me ;~; sorry.

I mean like

1. he dreamt of a man squeezing his butt
2. he blushes like mad whenever said man so much as touches him
3. actually cares about said man's well-being
4. agrees to be marked by said man by wearing his earrings and never taking them off

Wait... that's an agreement to marry someone? *rips off earrings and throws them across the room*

Tian: says something flirtatious/ accuses Shan of doing something flirtatious
Shan: *blanks out* *repeats the same thing Tian said but with "fucking" inserted*

daisyintherain July 24, 2019 12:34 pm

the raws used the word "sa jiao" which is literally translated into like acting spoiled. but I agree that usually sa jiao either has a flirtatious connotation (usually talk about a girl acting spoiled to her boyfriend) or talks about a little kid. So basically He Tian calls Guanshan sa jiao bc he was pouting about the sharks.

There's a fine line... slow burn is much more than just slow pacing. Every scene of the story should mean something. Every scene is a progression towards that end-goal. It may take long to get there, but there should be no moment when the audience is left feeling "why the fuck am I watching this again?" or "this is important because....?"

Right now the story is just snail-paced. I said this before and I said this again. There are panels that are absolutely unnecessary (ALL THE PANELS WITH THE GIRL WANGWANG or smt). Or panels that are like someone's foot walking, or one bubble of some random dialogue that doesn't foreshadow or indicate anything.

I'm back after like weeks to check on the story and still disappointed. The story was my favorite and now...

See you in a month.

byul never claimed yoon so... and we all know jaehwan literally exists just to make the main couple get together lmao. Cliche? Yes. But at this point I don't mind.

He curled up next to Mozi like a little puppy I just can't????

daisyintherain July 10, 2019 11:45 pm

Checked back after a long time to see if there's development... Unfortunately there's none for the main couple. The side couple is getting somewhere tho LMAO I know prefer them to the main couple. But spoilers if you are impatient:

Huanwen (Yuyang's friend) caught pink-haired little cutie Xiaoyuan (if I remember correctly lol) playing guitar and singing by himself in a room. Xiaoyuan was shocked to see HW standing at the door. Turns out XY was practicing for a performance, but he had never performed in front of an audience before so he was very nervous. He also confessed that even though he loved singing a lot, because of his stuttering, he felt very embarrassed, and he easily got nervous too. His music teacher also thought it'd be a good idea for him to fix his speech disorder first. HW then suggested he accompany XY practice from now on.

Yuyang then popped out from nowhere. The three then walked together and ran into LiHuan, but things were awkward. Wangwang got worried and asked LH about it, and Huan said that it wasn't time yet. If he reached out to YY now the result would be the same. So he was waiting for the right moment.

LH's dad picked him up. In the car LH said there was something he'd like to talk to his dad about. End of chapter.

So yeah literally nothing happened between the two main characters. el oh el.

I gotta admit, I hate Tianshan's relationship at first because He Tian was clearly bullying Shan. But as the story progresses, there is a clear development in the dynamics between them. I went back to read the series and realized it might have been the author's intention all along:

He Tian was interested in Jianyi at first - not necessarily romantically since he knew Jianyi liked Zhengxi, but he was intrigued nonetheless. Shan got into a fight with Jianyi, which made Tian antagonistic towards Shan at first. Thus he bullied Shan out of spite and revenge. I remember a chapter where he said things like you deserved it or something like that. He would call Shan over to order him around.

The turning point of their relationship is the chapter where Tian kissed Shan just to spite him. Shan didn't react too nicely (he cried), which stunned He Tian. Tian didn't expect Shan's reaction and probably realized that Shan was more innocent (?) than he'd thought. After that chapter I noticed that Tian was much nicer to Shan (saving him from She Li's framing etc.) Instead of ordering Shan to come to him, Tian would go to find Shan first. And from then on he became more and more interested in Guanshan, eventually falling in love with him.

That's my two cents lol.
