I guess since the manhwa is more comedic than the novel in tone somewhat the more traumatized Han Yoojin doesnt really translate well and so it makes him seem like a pushover who's willing to be treated like shit by the S-Classes. The internal narration in the novel is more complete so you'll see his point of view more. :)
