I just came back from reading this novel (because i was so impatient to wait for the manhwa to finish lol)
And im telling youuuuuu GO READ ITTTTTT there’s so much more to the story and background details that just don’t get covered in the manhwa. Like so many things got cut out that I personally feel give the story so much more depth.
The novel also captures emotions so much more too- all the desperation to all the funny goofy moments….ugh so good (I didn’t even think it was possible to sob so many times while reading)

ML isn’t inherently a horrible person (like some of the other toxic red flag MLs we see) so I can’t hate him, but I don’t like him. I think it’s just pathetic to see him realize what he really lost when it’s too late but instead of choosing to ask FL what she wants, he just keeps doing want HE wants instead
